I started running about a month ago. It was a struggle to go about a 1/4 of a mile. One day I decided to try and push myself to a half of a mile. Anyways, once i got to half a mile I felt like Forrest Gump. I just kept running until I hit 2.5 miles. I had an immediate breakdown and cried when I got off the treadmill. I walked outta the gym and said F$$$ Yeah I can do this! If I can anyone can! Good luck!

Hi Guys! I love Couch to 5K. I started it 2 weeks ago. Tomorrow starts my 3rd week and I up my running even higher. My goal has always been to run a 5K but never knew how to train. I've become so addicted that instead of the 20 minutes they tell you to do, I never do less than 30 and sometimes up to 50. And I've been doing it 5 days a week, not 3. It's been the BEST challenge. Don't get me wrong, I still HATE running, but I hate it a little less each day.

And to answer the big boob question.... I have huge ones, as most of us do here. And I wear 2 sports bras and one tank top with a bra in it. I am completely strapped in! And it helps, but I still feel tons of pressure on my chest. I can't wait till I can wear just one bra! Oh happy day....

I'm doing the online plan. It's 2 months. 8 weeks. I don't know what you are talking about with 5 or 7 months. That's a looong time to train for a 5K. Maybe it's something different. I'm doing 5 days a week right now because I am still doing more walking than running. My body feels great! And it gets easier everyday....

I did this back in August and September. It really kicked up my weight loss! But--I still don't like running. Do it...it does wonders for your self esteem, especially if you are like me and never could run even for a minute! Good Luck.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
