I got a Wii fit plus for Xmas too. I just bought Jillian Michaels game and tried it for the first time today. She kicked my butt! It has made a difference - I am moving. I am exercising. That is a huge change!;)

I have a Wii and the Wii Fit. I just got the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas. When I did use my Fit I found that my heart rate was up and I was getting a decent workout while having fun. I also got Dance Dance Revolution for the same thing to have fun while exercising. I'm hoping to make more use of it after my surgery, when it happens.

I went to the dr. on Tuesday (12/29/09) and that was one of the questions that I asked his nurse. She said that she have a Wii and the wii fit, and just upgraded to the wii fit plus. She said she did enjoy the different "games". I was considering getting one for myself as a late Christmas present because I told her that I DO need to be tricked into excercising  I will let you know how it goes.

Yes! I see a difference. It helps me get my heart rate up there, the games are fun (meaning I'll continue with them), and it helps track calories burned as well as my weight and BMI.

I think that any exercise you can have fun with you are going to stick with. At least, for me I will.

I have been dying to get the Wii and Wii fit plus. I'm actually going today to buy one. I got some $$$ for Christmas so I'm finally able to at least buy the Wii. I'll have to wait to get the Wii fit plus though. Not enough funds for all of it.

I am thinking this will be better than joining a gym because every time I do I never go!

I have Wii Fit and Wii Fit plus. I also bought the Golds Gym one. And I want to get the Wii Active. Wii Active you use less of the Wii board and it's more cardio. I have seen a difference.

I have the EA Sports Active and the Active More Workouts. Both provide an excellent workout and have different levels from beginner to expert.

We found the Wii Fit Plus at Sams Club for about $80 in November. Hopefully, if you have one near you and are a member, you'll be able to find one there too for that price.

It's a lot of fun and doesn't seem like exercise at all until you feel it in your thighs!

My kids love it and I love they're up and moving instead of sitting and playing a game.

I got a Wii fit plus for xmas too. I LOVE IT!!! It seems like too much fun to be exercise but when i wake up the next day, I can definately feel my workout. Be sure to workout the next levels. Once you get good at one "game" you can move up a level. They are usually harder and longer. I "rode my bike" up hills for 30 mins the other night and I'm still feeling it. I recommend everyone get one. Its a great calorie, bmi and weight tracker too.:smile2:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
