SandraDee, we all know that patience is a virtue. I know that you can do this. Remember the weight did not happen overnight and I know you can recite the rest. Stay strong and be encouraged with the success that you have accomplished. You are ALWAYS so supportive and encouraging to all of his. I'm sorry to hear you had a hard time and had to go to the ER. The problem I'm having now is the gas. I thought I got away but I guess not. It has been full force the past couple of days. I don't have much of a appetite and I need to move my body more. It was just hard when I still had pain. Good Luck!!

I feel the same way. I was just banded on 7/02/10 and I have only told one of my friends. I only told my mom one day before the surgery because of the "why" questions. I had been talking about it with my sister n law and strangly she asked yesterday did I have the procedure done. I did not say yest or no but I know that I will be telling her. We are like best friends. Anywho, do what makes you feel right. Good Luck

Congrats Jannalise on your band. We share the same band date. I too still feel a lil weak. I have been trying to keep moving and walking as much as I can. I think I had my first episode with gas last night :-( ..no fun.. I'm scared to try to have the broth and I really don't have a appetitle for anythng. I wish you continued success on your journey!!!

I'm glad everything worked out for you today. I will be in your shoes next Friday. I will have a hell of a 4th of July with pain, soreness and oh yeah..LIQUIDS!!! Keep us posted and have a good recovery.

Oh..yes, I can have 1 serving (4-6 ounces) of lean meat and 1 serving of veggies. Today was not as bad as Friday. I pray next week is even better.
