Wecandoit.... I am glad you are so positive and doing well. You and your husband are adorable together! Anyway, please do the hospital a favor and make it known about the service that was not correct. It is important that others do not get the same treatment. I am sad that it happened and wanted your big day to be as nice as mine! Talk to you soon! Robbie

Good luck tomorrow...you will be up on the unit around 11 am. Cleaning is good....keeps your mind busy. I will stop by the visit....all will go well! Sleep tight and I will put in a prayer for you tonight.
  4. Hi! I am newly banded. I have had no fills. My first is in two weeks. I really have very little limitations as of now. I am doing the best that I can but made a smore the other evening. I have never thrown up. Is it common to have little restrictions with new bands that have not been filled? I lost 13 the first week and have maintained the second but am discouraged....will it be better if my fills???

I can't believe you got it. It won't let me ....lol...anyway. Add the website to your favorite on your tool bar and click on that and enter your pin and update your weight loss. It will automatically be reflected on this website! You have a cute tickler. Mine is on my favorite but not my ID here. Son is at camp so oh well....
  9. Sounds like a great trip. You did great.
  10. And I do not think it is good for your body!!! GREAT NEWS.....my daughter looked up the new Fruit Smoothie and McDs last night. Medium size is yogurt and fruit...1 g protein..(I supplement so that was ok w me) and 130 calories for a medium ...I got a small and could only eat half. AND IT WAS A GREAT SUMMER TREAT ..when the kids got a treat I could get one and not feel deprivied or salivating because I wanted their treat too...Hip Hip Hooray to McDonalds new healthier choices
  11. I don't mean to be disrespectful but did want to encourage you. You need to eat slowly and listen to your band. Taking your time lets you get that full feeling. When you get that feeling listen to your body. I weight 232 now....down 13 lbs in 10 days post op. I couldn't jog if you payed me. I am a walker at this point. However, my MD told me yesterday at my post op appt that I could start getting in the pool....but no laps for a few more weeks and to take it easy with the exercise til I was healed. Wishing you all the best. Chin up and enjoy your amazing tool!

Awesome! I had mine band ten days ago. I had alot of pain the first week and was so happy to spend the evening in the hospital. When the nurse handed me the oral pain medication...I handed it back and asked for the IV medication. It was just easier and helped me rest. I am doing great now and hope your recovery goes well. I like imaluckydog's quote....you are healing from the inside out. She is so right! Good luck with your journey. I look forward to hearing about your journey.

I like that healing from the inside out. You already are a great help! Much thanks!
  14. I am 46 and everyone says I look in my thirties. I do not have any wrinkles. However, I weigh 238 this am. Down 8 since the band...yeah! I know that I will look older when I lose weight. Round and no wrinkles or small with some lines. Heart healthy as can be...where is the botox? HA HA HA....

Does your shoulder kill you? Mine does off and on. It is the gas. I was out and made my daughter carry my purse. Yes, I think it is hard when you have that gas pain! Hopefully your body will absorb it quickly and it will be better. I was getting sad when someone who got banded the same day as me was at the gym with her husband and I was napping! Thanks for the kind words....best of luck on this awesome journey! GOOD NIGHT
