Okay, I got my first fill today and I was a tad bit nervous. The PA did not have any problem finding my port. She said I had more fluid in my band than she normally sees. She thought that I had a fill before now??:glare: I got .8 in my band today for a total according to her of about 5cc's. I hope that not a bad thing. Out of all of the reading that I have been doing, I thought that was a lot compared to others. I ready for the TRUE weight loss to begin!!! I hope to be posting some loss

Hi Everyone,   I had my post op appointment today and it actually went well. I'm losing at a good rate and my first fill will be the first week in August. Dr. Marsden said I'm doing very well and I'm on the right track. He gave me the picture of "my" band and I was like wow. I'm excited for my new journey and he seems to think that I'm going to be successful. I will keep you guys posted!!

I'm going to walk more since the majority of the pain has subsided..still hurt but I can bear it more. Has any out there had trouble with even having the desire for broth, soup and liquids post op? I'm really str

I officially have my band . Yesterday was pretty tough. My surgery was delayed by two hours and then it was storming when I left the hospital. My overall experience not too bad. I am in pain today but I know it's only for a short time. I don't have a appetite for anything, not even broth but I know I have to get something in my system The Journey begins

Boy am I nervous. I got on the scale and was very disappointed this morning. It all started out so well and then boom....the last few days have been depressing :-(!!! I have been on task and did what the Dr. told me to do but expected a bigger loss on this pre op diet. Well, I'm going to say a prayer for me and my Dr. that all goes well! Wish me luck and I know I will be back to update soon.
