Breakfast...just not staying full, need help
Is he able to eat solids yet? If so, try Egg Beater's Egg Whites . .. 1/4 cup scrambled with 2Tablespoons of low fat cheese, then place it on a piece of well toasted wheat bread . . add 1/4 cup yogurt . . I have this almost every morning and don't feel hungry until lunch. I am 7 1/2 weeks post op and have not needed a fill yet. Hope this helps . . . best wishes.

Happy Labor Day!
Hello everyone and happy Labor Day. We are spending our day . . . well, laboring. We are going to cut wood this morning. I have laundry to catch up on and I actually brought home some work that I have put off doing all weekend, so I need to dig in and get it done and I need to get over to my mom's and do some cleaning. I will take time for a good walk and that will feel great. No cook outs today and that's ok, I'm really not missing it. How about you? Whatever you do to celebrate Labor Day . . .I hope it's a successful day for you. Be mindful of food choices and get in some exercise, you'll feel great for it tomorrow.

why staying off the scale might be best for my sanity and motivation...
Hey harliquinn, I am still weighing every day and I'm still losing pretty much every day . .. even if it's only a few ounces . . BUT I have told my husband that when I get to the point, and I'm sure I will, that I hit a plateau and don't see any weight coming off, I will NOT weigh every day because I know that I would get discouraged and I don't want that to happen . .. there's so much more to this than just seeing the scale move, but I think it is ok to enjoy seeing it move while it is .. . personal decision I think. As long as you are doing what you're supposed to be doing .. . hang in there, you will get there!!

The best thing about losing weight
Well . .. all of the above, plus the way my husband encourages and supports me every step of the way -- and I KNOW he is not doing so because he wants a skinny wife... he wants me here with him for a long, long time. It seems more possible now that I'm getting healthier!! Love it, love it, love it!!
