friday day 7

well lap band nation it have been 1 full week since i had my surgery, started out weigh in at 345. today i weight 322.4.. which i think is to much weight to lose in one week. is my band really that tight or is this the results of all the liquid i have been drinking, dnt get me wrong im not complaining, juz want the best for me:lol:

going to an cook out this weekend :confused:

pls some let me no if i can eat grill food on week two (still on liquid stage):unsure:

Wow that is a lot. But how can you say too much? If you are following your surgeon's plan it is what it is.

If you are on liquids and you eat grilled food you might stress that tummy around the band and that is definitely NOT worth it. I would recommend you make sure you have had your protein shake before the bbq and bring some tasty flavored water for during so you won't feel deprived or left out.

I agree with sandy . . .don't rush it. You could really do some damage . . stretch your pouch, etc. Not worth it. Hang in there . . . food is in your future! Nice job so far - keep up the good work.

I agree with he posts thus far> No grilled food for you yet my dear! I am 9 days post op and I start mushy foods sept 9th.. and not solids until two weeks after that. I know all surgeon's orders are different, but I know you should hold off on the solids for a few more weeks.
