  1. of course you can!!! it´s a matter of keeping your new eating habits and exercising. this is not a temporary thing, this is a change for lifetime. plus you will be so happy with your new weight that you won´t even want to go back to your old eating habits!!!:thumbup:

  3. don't give up or maybe you could reconsider a new goalweight, for example instead of 136 make it 140? more realistic? oh well, whichever way, keep it up, don't give up!!! you can do it.
  4. let it go, let it go, let someone else use it, someone else who may need it.....you need to get new clothes and feel good in it.....think positive, you know your surgery will work, don't be afraid to buy new clothes, you'll feel wonderful!!! :thumbup:

  11. i definitely think you should tell your mom. more if you consider her your bestfriend, do you think she will not approve or do you think she will get upset because you didn't tell her? whichever way she is your mom and she will always be there to support you. so just like you told your husband, i think your mom should be part of this as well. if you don't want to tell anyone else, then don't because they are not as close to you as your mom and your husband are. whichever way goodluck and welcome to the loser's bench!!! please keep us posted.

  14. i've heard that people who don't eat breakfast, get bad breath. do you eat breakfast everyday? try it and see if there's some positive result. goodluck
  15. i didn't have any pain, but it could be a good idea, try those pads, or something that holds your tummy tight....

  17. i totally agree with you, thanks for writing this, because there are so many out there that get frustrated and lose hope and all we need to do is get up and burn calories, either walking, dancing, lifting weights.....etc. any form of exercise is good!!! congrats and keep it up.:tongue2:

  22. if you're looking for a surgeon, i definitely recommend Dr. Aceves - he's excellent and very professional. goodluck with your process.
  23. it took me about a month to stop feeling sad and strange. i started taking long walks during the morning and that really helped me, and if i wanted to cry, i'd cry until i felt better.
  24. another thing you can do, is if you know you're going to go overboard on your eating, then you need to include some form of excercise and be sure to burn some calories. besides you'll feel less guilty.
  25. hi, i am glad you have taken the decision to go ahead with the surgery. By what you say you are at risk, and the good thing is you're doing something about it. Be patient it's sort of a long process but if you are constant you will be very successful. Goodluck and please feel free to write anytime. :thumbup:
