And so the WAITING begins...

Hey everyone...I got a letter yesterday from my doctor's office saying my packet has been sent in to my insurance for final approval...And guess what! I only have to expect between a 1-10 week wait for an answer...10 weeks!!!????? Dang!!! Cross your fingers for me that it comes much sooner than that. I'm so anxious to get to where I want to be that the 'waiting to start the journey' thing is killing me! LOL I can honestly say I never expected in my life to ever be excited about the prospect of starting a 2 week liquid diet! :( <<chuckle>>

Anyhoooooooo......Just had to send a 'shout out.'

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Call the insurance company in a couple of days and ask them for a status.

It shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

Good luck

I feel your pain!

I have all of the paperwork ready for my surgeon's office to submit everything on Monday. I already feel like I am going to burst and the insurance company hasnt even received anything yet.

Fingers crossed for you!

Good luck! The waiting really is the hardest part! If it's any consolation, I thought my approval was going to take several weeks but it took less than one! I agree with the post above - keep on them! Call call call! Don't expect them to take the initiative. You'll be starting that pre-op diet that much sooner if you do! :frown:
