  2. yep, she is definitely trying to scare you. i went to mexico with Dr. Aceves and i had done all my research before that and i chose them because i felt they were my best choice. just make sure you do your research. goodluck and tell your friend to get her facts straight.

  4. hi, happy to hear you've lost a lot of weight, but sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. the only advice would be for you to go to the doctor and tell him all you've gone through. goodluck and please keep us posted.
  5. i lift two 5lbs weights and i do several repetitions, and i do pushups as well. I try to do two sets of 10. It's really hard, but after some months you start seeing the difference.
  6. you'll have your normal life back, just better, healthier and looking better with all that weight loss!!! so enjoy your new journey to weight loss....choose healthy foods and welcome to the losers bench!!!!

  8. well, the good thing is you made up your mind and actually changed doctors. and remember that everything happens for a reason, so don't feel bad cause you wasted 4 months, it has only given you time to learn new things and find your new doctor!!! wish you the best.
  9. low self esteem, during highschool i had many boyfriends,got married and then got a divorce, found him with another lady. my weight plummeted. i've always loved food, but after the divorce there was no stopping me. until i had my sleeve. and it has been the best decision i've ever taken.
  10. wow, had never stopped to think about that, but your trainer is absolutely right.....i'll be sure to do it on monday as soon as i get to the gym. thanks and thankyou for motivating me to continue with my workouts!!!
  11. i used to feel embarrassed at first, but then i started getting really motivated, plus i love the results and the feeling after a good workout. i love zumba class, it's great you should give it a try!!! goodluck:thumbup:

  14. that really really sucks!!! mmm well my only advice would be to try the bicycles at the gym - like take a spinning class, i know it's not outdoors but you could give it a try. goodluck and please keep us posted.:thumbdown:
  15. keep it up, you can do it!!! It's a bit hard the first few days, but then you get the hang of it. I had to take some Tylenol cause I got headaches as well. Go for a walk whenever you feel you can't handle it, plus if one day you fail, don't worry, it's perfectly normal, just start again the next day. Goodluck and please keep us posted.:thumbdown:

  18. my husband was very supportive and he's been loving every single day i lose weight.....we have become more intimate as well. so maybe you could convince him and try it with that strategy LOL.:smile:

  22. yes i definitely crave food, specially on those days of the month!!! it´s something we will always live with, but getting sleeved made it much more difficult for me to pigout. so i am very happy for that. :smile:

  24. i sometimes cry, but not because i am sad, but because i am extremely happy for my achievements!!! so maybe that's the reason why you are crying and feeling sentimental.....you've started losing weight and you're starting to look different and that's probably the reason. I haven't had any complications and my trip to Mexico was all well worth.
