  1. you realize we are shooting for over 200 pages when we are shooting for under 200 pounds? Go figure. And I only have to work about one week out of the month. This is that week.
  2. To think I missed all that 200 excitment. Teach me to do work while at work!!!
  3. BG You make me laugh first thing in the morning. I appreciate it. I'll call the boxing studio (sounds more girlly no?) today. Promise! Looking up number now....
  4. Oh that's funny. lmao, laugh your wedgie ass off! Cool you for the lap swimming. They say that's fantastic for cross training for running and biking because of the measured breathing. I need some support to get me to call the boxing gym and set up a session for Saturday. I know I'm asking to be bullied...but I'm skairt and need to be talked into doing it.... My tea is delicious.
  5. Howdy MissSac. Welcome. You'll be in bandland soon. Stevee-Sounds like your doctor is a keeper. Relax you'll be SKINNY this time next year. It will happen. Flipper-That's a struggle. Being in a LDR is helpful for me because I feel like I can protect my daughter from the ups and downs of dating. Not that I've ever really did the flavor of the week kind of dating. But it sounds like you all are way beyond that. I'm sure it's hurtful to have the boy be distant, but seems like you've it's resolving with time. Raising kids is incredible. Raising kids as queer parents offers us some unique challenges but also it is very sweet. I look back just a generation or two where people would forego having children or would not be true to themselves to raise their kids and count myself lucky as hell. Peace, y'all.
  6. Two weeks out of a life time isn't much. To regain control of your life it's a small price. I say that now....hehehe, it's hell, but you can do it!!!!!!!!!!
  7. BG I am hearting you fully right now. I've just made a pot of Sleepy Time tea. I got on such a tea jag for right when I got banded and for the last 2 months have pretty much stopped. I don't want caffine and went for the green box with the Teddy Bears. I forgot all about how much I loved that tea until you told JC about it. Of course I bought it way back then (like on page 40)... It made me think of you guys.
  8. he's getting action from his new honey...you know what Chris Rock says about new adult relations..... He'll be back when he comes up for air.
  9. B, That came from a decision making and problem solving class. You know I'm holding my breath to see what you and your wife decide about the move...
  10. Mrs H, you can meet that goal! We'll help!
  11. Funny, eye of the tiger.... But effective. Yeah, I'm trying to find the desire to dig a little deeper. Dems-Reading the WLS for dummies again is a good idea. I need to read my journal from before the surgery to recapture my desire to lose. Good to know you gals are out here to chat with.
  12. You can stay where you like but the "group" who ever or how ever large it may be is satying at Treasure Island. I know there are cheaper places to stay, but it's what we decided awhile ago.
  13. and but love heart. I need to proof read
  14. and but... If you want to talk it through I have time this afternoon or you can send me lists and I'll ask you questions etc and make your sheet for you. Ahhhhhhhhh business school. I love heart this shit.
  15. Develop a list of criteria. (What you want from your job.) Arrive at a final list of 3-4 criteria that best fit your problem. You can do more if you must. Three isn't enough for me. List the solutions to your problem down the left side of the matrix. These are your potential jobs. Assign a weighted percentage to each of the decision criteria based on importance. The total of all listed criteria must equal 1.0 (e.g., the total of the assigned criteria or weights must equal 100). For example: Criterion 1 = .3 (Insurance) Criterion 2 = .2 (Pay) Criterion 3 = .4 (Flexibility) Criterion 4 = .1 (Prestige) Therefore, .3 + .2 + .4 + .1 = 1.0 or 100% Assign a numerical rating scale to each alternative. For example: 1= low score, 5 = high score. Evaluate and rate each solution against each criterion by multiplying the rating scale number by the weighted numerical criteria number. (e.g., The weighted criteria is .3 x 5 = 1.5. This is the criteria number (.3) times the assigned alternative rating scale number of 5). Add the weighted values and calculate the final score for each of your proposed problem solutions. Select the alternative with the highest score. BG it's dorky, and but it works. Or just pretend I didn't say a word.
  16. BG There's a tool out there called weighted ranking. It's great for decision making like this. I'll see if I can find a good website that explains how it works...might take a minute.
  17. You know "throwing up a little in my mouth" used to gross me out a lot more than it does now....too many PBs. there are times when I think I paid to have bullemia. (sp)...it's about how I eat now my fill level so no lectures please.
  18. Writing down what I eat helps me. Not drinking coffee with cream. I'll just have tea instead. Also exercise like you life depends on it. Oh, wait, it does!
  19. Diane, I understand about battles. I would love to have you join us. (hubby too!). You're such a LBT celebrity with the TT and all, getting you to be part of the party would be such a coup. Who knew there were LBT celebrities? Ha, but you know Dancing!!!!!!!!!!! I love dancing!!!!!!!!
  20. You all need to stop the nut and candy talk... York makes thiese little mints that I totally ate the hell out of until I realized that they were stupid expensive. B you could just swallow your tooth paste and chase it with that chocolate protein drink. GACK!!!!!!! okay, Le Target, I have to tell a story that might not translate. But it's funny as hell. My friend worked there and she's the world's biggest smartass and can dead pan and carry a joke very far....Some woman came to the return desk and chatting told my friend, "We call this place Le Target" and Kelly was like, "Really? Oh, I've never heard that before. Wow, that clever, oh my...hey Rosie, this woman here calls this place Le Target, isn't that cute?!" Kelly took it to the extreme like while doing the transaction was still going "Le Target" under her breath and chuckling...it got to where the woman got sheepish and was like, "I didn't make it up...." To Kelly's credit she didn't say, "No shit dumb ass, I was making fun of you!"
  21. B I how do you deal with all the unknowns, like where you're going to be living???? That stresses me out beyond words.
  22. Julie!!!!!! No pity party for you, but I want to say Bastard Ass! There are certainly better things to invest your energy into, like you said, obsessing about surgery is one. Don't you wish there was an auto-pilot button we could go on when thinking about food (too much or too little) becomes overwhelming? I worry about trading out behaviors too, but having a handle on the concept should be a way to buffer it, right
  23. Bontrager :: CRZ+ Race They do. This is what I sit on. I'm lusting for my bike............
