  1. Good idea! I like pictures too. Being on the exercise thread, I thought I might ask, whatcha all doing for exercise? I'm just in the gym a lot right now and I whimped out on the boxing thing. I think mentally I'm not up for that just yet. Anyone, anyone?
  2. You can laugh your ass off all you want. You just watch and see. I'll comp you a couple of front row tickets.
  3. Baby Biker Bitch Join Date: Jan 2007 Age: 27 Posts: 1,617 Hey anyone here interested in a bodybugg but you don't want to shell out the $400 for it? On the bodybugg users thread I found a link to get one for like $230. go to 24hourfitness.com and buy the bugg. Use coupon code BLC24. Just thought I would let you guys know in case you are interested. Use the coupon code and save $50, if the offer is still good.
  4. That's my dream job. Once I write the book and go on tour and meet Oprah.
  5. I mean Traci Sorry about the Y,
  6. If I'm not mistaken people involved are BG-Stacy JC-Jody D-Deanna TX-Stephanie B-Brandon HP-Tracy J-Juli Looks like 7 people. I feel bad you're not involved in the SS, ZZ.... But yeah, I love getting non bill stuff too.
  7. B- Good lucky as the Deaf would say. You'll do well. Finance was hard because it's so different from what I knew, but it was interesting! D- I know what you mean about sabotaging yourself. Rationally, you are probably just tired of the effort it takes to keep losing. The band does help but it doesn't make weight loss automatic. We have to work at it and it exhausting. Also, the Holiday season is upon us and it's loaded. Physically with candy and many food traditions. Emotionally it's loaded too. And there's no denying that food and how we eat are emotionally linked...so dealing with that and having a natural laul in motivation is like a double whammy. For me, I'm just trying to take it one day at a time. I'm not an AAer, but if I can plan one day and do well then I'm motivated for the next day, and so on. Maybe that helps?
  8. BG- Korrine takes after her mommy, huh? You'd think that Zoe would be a good ass kicker, consdering how big and strong she is, but my baby is a sensitive little thing. And it breaks my heart that she's such a target, because she's not a follower. I love that she's unique. (I so was not. I wanted to be regular in a family of freaks.) I want her to get thicker skin, but not so much that it changes her sweetness.
  9. TX Girl you know you are welcome in all the fun. My opinion of the way to proceed is: Individuals send your mailing information to Suzzzie. in IM. She will randomly assign people to their Secret Santa (SS) in IM. This will be done by December 1st. Spend no more than $25 on your SS. Less if you're a good bargain finder. Drop your gift to your SS by December 17th. What do you think? And ZZ, do you think, and does anyone mind, doing a mailing list of our addresses? I'm a Christmas card freak and I'd love to send all of you cards, even if you aren't my SS. You've become such a part of my life this past year. Ideas, concerns, changes? Let's discuss.
  10. Rant for my day: Zoe wore a costume to preschool today, her afternoon kindergarten class is having a party. I offered to meet her at lunch and do the costume for school, but she REALLY wanted to wear it this morning. She was the only one in costume because these other school aged kids go to a different school system. Some bratty girl, who I have never liked, said, "Zoe, I don't" looked me in the eye, and continued "like your costume." It was as if she dared me to say something to her. So of course I did. I said, "You don't have to wear it, now do you?" "That's not a nice thing to say" would have been more appropriate. I guess I should be happy I didn't say, "Who cares what you think you evil, mean, ugly little girl?" I know, shake off the evil child's comments. It's just hard to see someone hurt your kid. She hates it at the child care center and we hate her being there. 7 more months and it's done.
  11. Jeni, Thanks BTW. I see that 85...Golly, was that the year you were born?? I graduated high school in 86. I feel so old. I think it's fantastic that you are getting your weight under control at 22 not later. You'll be happy you did. I wish there was this tool around when I was your age! I sound like I've got a foot in the grave...ugh.
  12. I personally take it easy for the following meal, if that's good, then I'm back to regular. I find that if I PB too often I get stuck in the soft foods mentality. So I'm trying to be careful of that too. Hope you feel better soon.
  13. now and then... Were we more innocent or did we just not talk about "dirty old men" and warn our children like we do now? I do believe sexy is being marketed to people younger and younger. In high school in the 80's for me it was preppy but the jeans were painted on. However, we are talking about little kids. Not teens. I couldn't find my kid sandals this past spring that weren't wedged or platformed with out getting her brown from the boys' section. She lived in her hedious crocks, but at least they don't push her ass out for all to adore. It's a sad commentary to be sure.
  14. Looks like hubby is going to get his butter churned real good.
  15. I want to live in Reeses Hell. Are the walls all peanutbuttery? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yeah, well liver sucks. I thought I'd mature beyond thinking it was gross and really I did get past the taste, going down...but the texture, or really nearly everything today, had me PB-ing...and the taste coming back up was horrific. BG, try to keep the vomit in your mouth after that one..... GACK!!!!!!!!
  16. Mrs. H, As much as I wish I'd lost 93 since March it's just not true. That number includes 23 pounds I lost from January to March presurgery. But thanks for the props.
  17. "Do I look Sexy?" Oh god! How did you respond? My little girl is 6 and I can't imagine her saying that, but I know it's not too far in the distance. UGH!
  18. JC!!!!!!!!!!! Good to know you are well. I nearly called just to put D's mind at ease. WE'll be here when you're ready to resume.......bitching, biking and bodybugging
  19. Yeah, I've worked as a chef and it was cooked fine. It was absolutely not over done. It's a texture/band thing I believe for me. My co-workers were digging it. I still work in a kitchen, hence being able to cook liver in the middle of my day...
  20. A cross post but to you an feel for what I'm dealing with currently: Having had my blood work done at 6 months out it was determined that I am a bit low on vitamin B 12. I thought I'd just add sources to my diet instead of taking a supplement. I went to foodtv.com found a recipe, went to Whole Foods, bought some liver, cooked it up all like I was told. Took a bight and immediately thought is tastes like a dirty barn smells. But the second bight wasn't too bad. I didn't realize I was hurrying it up in my mouth. By the third bight I knew it was all going to come back up. OH For the love of god, this is horrible. This is the worst PB to date. I write in present tense because as soon as I think I am done, there is more. It's like an informercial, "No wait, there's more." The lesson to take away from this LIVER=BAD.
