  1. Oh ty that makes me feel better knowing that.
  2. It sucks that some people just can't be supportive. I am close to being 9 months out, and my husband is extremely jealous and trying to be controlling of me especially now that the warm weather is here. He tried to tell me that I wasn't "allowed" to wear shorts. I just laughed and told him I will wear whatever I want. (I never wore them when I was heavy so now he is having a fit). Not that I am going to look like a stripper and wear super short ones, but he is still having a fit over it. I told him that if he doesn't like it, he can divorce me. When I said that, he kinda backed off a little. Now he just grunts at me when I get dressed for the day. Oh well!
  3. Are they saying you still can only have liquids at 4 weeks out? I don't think I could eat anything at that point?
  4. Unfortunately I doesn't matter as I have tried different types of lettuce also. I can tolerate baby spinach a little bit more sometimes.
  5. LOL well maybe if I can remember them.
  6. Oh good to know that its not just me having an issue. TY
  7. Fully vaccinated since March and no problems except a sore arm both times.
  8. I am still having a really hard time eating salad. I have a hard time digesting raw veggies. I am close to being 9 months out, and I feel like I should be fine at this point? When I am able to eat it again, I can't wait to try these dressings. They look yummy.
  9. I actually did have my labs done and everything came back good. I never had super strong nails before the surgery, but now its way worse.
  10. TY I do not know any of these abbreviations. I feel so stupid.
  11. I used Mrs. Dash and liked it so much that I still use it.
  12. This is what happens to mostly everyone after surgery. I used to get so aggravated. I would lose, then be in a stall for sometimes 3-4 weeks at a time. If you keep doing what your supposed to, you will see it come off again. Just be patient. I know it sucks. I used to get so upset.
  13. I had the WLS close to 9 months ago and my nails including my toenails are so weak they are peeling, and breaking below the nail bed surface. So low in fact that my entire toenail peeled right off the other day and was bleeding for hours. I know that we are not absorbing nutrients as we were before, but this is getting really bad. My fingernails are disgusting, and I have to keep them filed all the way down to the fingertips. Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what did you do to fix/help it?
  14. Being able to give myself a pedicure for the 1st time in over 15 yrs. Getting in and out of the shower without having to hold on to something because I would be afraid of falling down. Walking around without being out of breath and having to sit down somewhere to rest. Being able to do housework and keeping my house clean.
  15. Almost 9 months out and I can only eat a piece of small cheese pizza at this point. I have a really hard time with eating the crust. I usually eat about 1/2. I tried the cauliflower crust and still had a hard time digesting it for some reason. I didn't try to eat pizza until about my 3-4 months. All I could eat was a tiny bit of cheese and sauce. Good luck.
  16. What is the Robard diet? I never heard of it.
  17. I won't be able to take ibuprofen, only Tylenol and that is why I am so worried about it. Tylenol really doesn't do much for me in the first place.
  18. If I get anything done, I think it will be a tummy tuck. The hospital where I had my bypass will refer me to their plastic surgeon. They are excellent.
  19. How can you eat so much more? I am not being funny, I am serious. I try to eat more, and I can't because I get so full so quick. I am close to being 9 months out, and I thought I would be able to eat more at this point. I can eat a little bit more, like maybe 2 extra bites but that is it.
  20. I lost so much hair in months 4-6 and now its actually growing back. Thank God. It is normal so don't freak out like I did. I would literally cry every time I washed my hair. I have 2 bald spots, but because my hair is growing it is now covering them. My nutritionist told me to take Flaxseed Oil pills 1,000 mg a day. I have been doing it since month 4 and now I am almost 9 months out. I do believe it helped a lot.
  21. Really you only needed Tylenol for the pain after the plastics? I heard from others that its very painful and they needed to take scripts of pain pills. I can not take pain pills at all due to my Chrons. This may be some great news for me. I do have a strong pain threshold so maybe its doable.

I am feeling this same way. I can't stop losing weight. My goal was 135 and now I am at 130. I wish I could stop but it just keeps coming off. I have gone from a size 6 down to a 4 in just a month. It feels good but bad at the same time. I am sick of buying new clothes.
  23. Ok so that explains it. Thanks.
