Stall/Gaining HELP!?!
Everyone experiences stalls. I am still going thru it now at 9 months out. Sometimes its 1-2 weeks and others 3-4. Have you tried to increase your protein and decrease carbs and other things? Sometimes it works. Good Luck

Ladies! - Swimsuits with a belly flap
I have this exact same problem. I bought a bathing suit with a skirted bottom, and also a swim dress.

Feeling full
I am not taking that long to eat, and maybe that is something I should try to do. I feel that it would make me feel more full? I still take the 30 minutes before and after rule to drink the water. Should I still be doing this at this stage? I agree with you on contacting my dietician. Thanks for the input.

Pork and Ground Beef
Wow! You are one of the "lucky" ones to be able to eat all those meats without them bothering you. I wish I could eat some of that stuff. Haddock & Salmon seem ok sometimes.

Big belly
TY for this info. I was afraid of that. I am so scared of getting plastic surgery. My family and hubby are so against it also which makes me even more leery.

Possible gas??
TY for clearing that up. I have never heard of a cramp being called a stitch before.

Restaurants
My mind tells me that I want to "try" eating some fries. But my body tells me not to do it. LOL

I am afraid/embarrassed to appear high maintenance. I don't want to embarrass my husband either.

Feeling full
I am having a hard time understanding why I get so full so quick. I am 9 months out and thought by now that I would be able to eat more. I am basically only able to eat as much as I could at around 6 months. I get full very easily and then feel sick. I cut down my water from 8 cups a day to only 6 thinking that if I did that I would have more room for more food, but that isn't the case. I was getting around 90-100 grams of protein a day and even cut that down to around 70-80 and I am still extremely full all the time. Why is this happening at this stage? Has this happened to anyone else? Does it get better?

Vitamins & Bypass?
Thanks for the info. I recently heard that stretching out the pouch for bypasses is very hard to do. Like you said you have to overstuff yourself on a daily basis. I don't know how anyone could do that without being/feeling sick.

What to eat
Oh ok at least I know I am not alone. If your 21 months out and can only eat 2 bites, I don't feel so bad about it. I honestly don't know if I will ever be able to eat carbs again without feeling so full, and sick. I just avoid it now. I thought at 9 months out I could be eating pretty much what I felt like, but I guess I am wrong about that. I still have a hard time with most meats. I also get very full after a few bites of anything and thought I would be able to eat more at this point.

Finally in Onederland!! ?
Oh thank you. I feel so dumb when I ask what all these things mean. LOL

Restaurants
Yummy salad idea. I can't tolerate regular salad stuff. Lettuce and sliced veggies are really hard for me to digest. I can however tolerate spinach, strawberries, almonds and feta. Not sure about the chicken as I have had a very hard time with meat also. Thanks for the idea. I am def going to try that.

Pork and Ground Beef
Oh yes I have also eaten ground turkey and can tolerate that as well. Again, probably because its ground.

What to eat
How are any of you eating rice? I am 9 months out and still can't eat it. Not pasta, bread, or really any carbs without getting sick and feeling sooooo uncomfortably full (even if I just take a few bites).

Finally in Onederland!! ?
Don't mean to sound stupid, but what does Onederland mean?

Before surgery I would eat fast food at least 3 times a week and sometimes more. I never cooked or hardly ever and if I did, it was all bad, quick stuff like mac and cheese. I do a lot of meal prep now and it is a lot easier to just heat up stuff I cooked earlier in the week. I am freezing a lot of things now also. I put them in portion control containers and just take out one at a time. It is so much easier than I thought it would be. I was never a big soup eater, and now I eat soup at least once or twice a week for dinner. Progresso lite soups are great. I take out the pasta and add chickpeas, carrots and green beans.

Restaurants
Thanks for the tip. I usually don't like the dressings in the restaurants anyway. I always would get oil and vinegar if they didn't have anything I liked. Now I am ready to bring my own. LOL

Some happy raves:)
Wow! Thanks for all these awesome ideas. It is so hard to come up with new things to try.

Big belly
I am 9 months out and have gone from 216 to 131 and still have a huge belly with a lot of fat. I noticed it in recent pics that I have rolls still? How can this be if I only weigh 131 lbs.? I don't get it. I am so skinny everywhere else. How do I get rid of this belly without having plastic surgery?

Restaurants
I never thought of just getting an appetizer for a meal. Thanks for the suggestion.
