  1. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I feel I am too old to get a breast job....
  2. I suppose I could try to get a proper fitting. I have never done that before. Don't know if I would be too embarrassed or not?
  3. Did you have all these surgeries done at one time?
  4. I thought I was or should be smaller band size. For some reason even though I am in a size small shirt, my band size is still 36. If I go to 34 its too tight. Yes I did mention plastic surgery, but that is for a tummy tuck. I would never or at least don't think so right now have a boob job.
  5. I used to be a full 44C before surgery. Now a 36B is too big (the cups are gaping) . I wonder if I will be back in a training bra pretty soon. It is really depressing. I noticed I still have to wear a bra if I go out because they are really saggy now, and my nipples are always sticking out. Weird, because that rarely happened when they were bigger.
  6. Hello I think this is really weird/funny. I went shopping the other day, and decided to try on some sandals. Before my surgery I wore 10 WW shoes. Now I am in a 9 regular shoe. I understand the width part as you lose weight. But how can your feet get shorter? LOL
  7. I am 9 months out. When did you start gaining/looking healthy again? I don't even care if I gain. I just want to stop losing at this point. I saw someone today that I just saw last month and she was like OMG your so thin! I got mad at her and told her not to say that to me. Of course I apologized to her, but my initial reaction wasn't what I thought I would ever be at.
  8. I eat slowly. So slow that everyone is done before me, and my food is always cold.
  9. I don't eat sugar. I had my gallbladder removed in 2012.
  10. Congratulations! I love reading people's stories. I love this forum! Thank you for posting and sharing with us.
  11. Please be patient with yourself, and your body. Everyone is different, and has different experiences. Good Luck
  12. I eat Progresso Lite Soup almost every day. I only eat the Chicken Pot Pie, and Meatball (I take out all the pasta of the meatball one), then I add 1 entire small can of chickpeas (more protein and fiber), 1/2 small can of cut green beans, and 1/2 small can of sliced carrots. It makes the soup thicker, but also easy to digest as green beans, and carrots are the most easily digested veggies. I make Greek style Turkey Meatballs (found the recipe online). It's just ground turkey meat (I use the white meat), with spinach, feta cheese, and a few other ingredients. I make a double recipe and freeze some. I put 6 in each container (I can only eat 2 for a meal). Sometimes I put some marina sauce on them, and other times I eat them plain.
  13. That I wouldn't be able to stop losing weight if I wanted to. I am having a lot of trouble maintaining, and keep losing. I am too skinny and look sickly now. I know people have told me I will gain some back hopefully in the next few yrs. but right now I look awful. My face looks older, my eyes are sunk in, and also black. I am not happy with the way I look. I think I looked better when I was heavier.
  14. I was also a diabetic before surgery (for 7 yrs.) and used to be addicted to diet coke. After surgery I tried to drink some crystal light, and it was disgusting. All I could taste was the aftertaste of the fake sweetener. It gave me gas, and made me poop. I can only drink water (room temp). I used to love ice cold water with lots of ice cubes, but ever since surgery can not drink it cold? Not sure why. Once in a great while I drink flavored hot tea with nothing added to it. Now that its getting warmer out, I will only be drinking water. I do get sick of it, but I know it's the only thing I can drink, so I really don't have a choice.
  15. I only drink water or maybe tea a few times a year and that is it for drinks. I do eat cukes almost every day, and I started eating watermelon recently. I know that both of those have a lot of water content. I never thought about the phlegm in my throat (thought that was from allergies).
  16. My pee color has always been clear or extremely light no matter how much or little I drink. I don't think that I can tell from just that alone.
  17. Ok for some reason I thought it changed as you got further out.
  18. I haven't been out to eat since before my surgery. I eat very slowly, and always make sure I am hydrated so I know its not any of that stuff. I basically eat the same things every day so I am curious to see what its all about.
  19. I don't eat sugar so I know its not from that. I always eat slowly and eat small bites of food and chew completely. I am thinking of calling my docs office on Monday to see what they say about it.
  20. At almost 9 months out do I still have to keep drinking so much fluid? Does it ever get to the point where we don't have to do this? Can I drink less now?
  21. Hi all, I am close to 9 months out and am wondering if anyone this far out still gets nauseous from time to time, and feel like they can't eat or drink. Mostly happens at night during dinner. After dinner even if I don't eat that much, I start feeling sick. Sometimes I have to lay down. I can not drink anything after dinner time. I make sure I get all my water in before that.
  22. I certainly hope so. I can eat 2 scrambled eggs plain if I don't eat anything else with them. I just started being able to do that. If the food is heavier, I can not eat more than a few bites. I still having a hard time with any meats. It feels like a lump sitting in my belly for hours after and it hurts even if I only take really small tiny bites.
  23. When I get a chocolate craving, I eat tiny mini dark choc chips from Nuts.com. I only eat a very small amount and it gets rid of the craving. I put them on yogurt, in my cereal, mixed with nuts, etc. I usually eat a tiny bit every day and its perfect. The only almonds & walnuts that I eat are whole, raw from Nuts.com also and there are no better tasting walnuts that I have tried so far.
  24. I have not tried spring mix. I will have to do it because I love salad. TY for the idea.
  25. It took a whole week of me taking it every day for it to finally work. My doc said even if it makes it too loose to not stop taking it. So what did I do...stopped for only one day because I had diarrhea the day before. Well guess what. I didn't poop for 2 days after that and now I am constipated again even though I have been taking it for the past 3 days. Stupid on my part not to listen to the doc. Ugghhh!
