  1. Look what just arrived. It's adorably tiny! ? I see some cheddar bacon chaffles with airfried chicken in my future!
  2. My surgeon gave me the option. Because I haven't had children, he didn't deem it absolutely necessary. I opted for it, despite the pain, in order to have the best results possible, in particular narrowing my waist. I also heard the hunched over position, and the pain. And that hunching over also causes back pain. I'm honestly not looking forward to that part at all.
  3. It was definitely a slider, something that could be eaten at the soft foods phase for sure. I didn't feel the least bit bad about 2nds though. The entire casserole was under 2K calories, so I could go to town if I wanted to! That looks great! I'm lucky that he loves and appreciates everything I make. So I usually plan his meals around what's on sale, or what I have stocked up in the freezer. I made mushrooms because they were on sale for $0.95/pack ?. I enjoy the challenge to make meals that are interesting, healthy & cheap. For instance the pork meal was about $2/meal, broccoli beef was about $4.50/meal & assuming 5 meals out of the green chile casserole + squash, it comes out to $3/meal.
  4. This one I actually ate! ? It is not the prettiest meal ever. Next time I'd use less enchilada sauce and/or not precook the quinoa Ground Beef and Hatch Chili Casserole w Quinoa & Yellow Squash No after, because I ate it all, and then had seconds!
  5. Meal prep for the bf again this weekend, non bariatric portions here! Broccoli Beef with Cauliflower Rice Pork Tenderloin, Sherry Mushrooms, Sweet Potato & Glazed Brussel Sprouts Really loving sous vide for chicken & pork lately!
  6. Are you having muscle tightening? My understanding is that is by far the most painful part of a TT.
  7. Mine isn't until early December I'm only taking 2-3 days off work because I work from home (or in this case a hotel room), and figure I will be functional enough to take calls, answer emails etc.. I'm planning a minimum of 4 weeks, hopefully up to 6 weeks without any work travel.
  8. I am 18 months post op and been at a stable weight for over 6 months. My skin has not firmed up seemingly at all. The last 20 or so lbs were actually the worst as far as exacerbating the laxity and sagginess. YMMV, but in my early 40's, with over 100 lbs lost, plastics are the only realistic option for my excess skin.

    LOVE!
  13. I agree with @catwoman7 ... I would only go to a very experienced ps who specialized in post massive WL surgeries. There are obviously risk of complications, but also if I'm going to spend thousands, I want to be confident I'll be happy with my results.

Probably just my own quirk. Shows have A LOT going on, people, noise, lights, etc. I just feel like I represent my brand best if I'm counteracting all of that visual noise. I'm probably a weirdo!

I deleted and then re downloaded the app. It is semi working now. BUT it is nearly impossible to scroll through posts. Pics pop up in safari constantly, at even the slightest touch. Very frustrating!

It's the shirt. I tried it on with just a tucked in t shirt. But yesterday I wore it with a fitted body suit.

Welcome @Everythinganna! You have legs for days!!
  23. I've totally slacked on this challenge this month! I have been walking a decent amount this month. Not as much as previous months because of travel and September is the hottest month where I live. I did also meet my goal of staying under 130 ... barely! Weighed in this morning at 129.8 ...whew!
  24. Had my DEXA scan last weekend. It has been a crazy week, so sorry for the delay! I'm overall really pleased with the results, especially from a health perspective! Summary My body fat is 25.4%, about the 19th percentile for my age (40's) My fat is well distributed, again especially important from the health perspective. I have 0.4 lbs visceral fat (around the organs, correlates to a lot of negative health conditions), under 1 lb is considered healthy, according to the DEXA tech. Also have a majority of my trunk fat in my Gynoid region vs. Android 9lower torso vs. upper torso). That type of ditribution also is shown to have health benefits. My bone density is in the 95th percentile or so. Super pleased about that. Bone density is a concern of mine considering my family is long lived, and because I drink a lot of diet soda. I'm a little disappointed my arms and my thighs have a higher fat % than my trunk. I am having plastics, but not removing any fat from those regions, but will be removing fat from my stomach. My arms and thighs also have a significant amount of sag, so getting leaner will exacerbate that. I don't if excess skin is considered lean or fat mass. The two techs gave different answers, so I don't trust either one. Silicone will show up as bone mass in a DEXA. It is denser than lean mass, so gets categorized as bone. I'm glad I got this base line before plastics, so I know my bone mass is in good shape.
