Food Before and After Photos
This is pretty similar to the one I use. They key to a good recipe is a high egg to milk ratio, so you get proper height and rise. I do alter it a bit though. I add finely diced fresh herbs and garlic. And I used lard as the fat, as t's easily available and has a high smoke point. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/best-yorkshire-puddings

My ex is from Yorkshire, I ditched him but kept making the puddings ? When I'm cooking for the family Xmas dinner, it's prime rib and yorkshire pudding with gravy as the main. They're not hard, but require a very hot oven to come out properly.

Breast Augmentation
I was flat, deflated and basically just skin pre op. But, in this pic, I'm about 30# more than my weight at the time of my BA. So I probably had about a B cup worth of tissue at this point in time. I like UHP because of the projection and upper pole it gives me

The New Found MALE GAZE! I'm Pissed ???
This is a public forum, not an echo chamber. I expressed my opinion. You and your two friends disagree. No one attacked anyone ? I still believe "if everywhere you go smells like sh*t, maybe it's time to check your shoes"

The New Found MALE GAZE! I'm Pissed ???
If you believe the majority of an entire gender is jealous, insecure, catty and backstabbing, then you are definitely the problem

The New Found MALE GAZE! I'm Pissed ???
I find myself more attractive after weight loss, so why wouldn't men? If some didn't want to be my friend because of my weight, yeah, that's a problem. But didn't want to date me because of my weight, I get it. Beyond physical appearance, when I was overweight there were things I couldn't or didn't want to do, hike, skydive, beach vacations etc.. People want partners that they not only find attractive, but that enjoys many of the same activities they do. I met my bf after WLS surgery. We have had many conversations about my weight, WLS etc.. He would not have dated me at my pre WLS weight. And that's ok, because I wouldn't have dated him if he was 100 lbs heavier than he is now either. As far as the "male gaze", I am completely unbothered by it. Having men do the double, triple take is sometimes amusing, but mostly I'm indifferent to it. I'm out there in public, let them look.

1 1/2 years out serious issues
If you have been diagnosed with this, I don't understand why healthcare coverage is an issue. What insurance will cover a bypass and a panni, but not organ failure?

1 1/2 years out serious issues
Have you seen a bariatric specialist? It sounds like something other than a small pouch to me I am over 6 years out, but I still have a lot of restriction. My capacity for the last 5+ years has held steady at about 4 oz. So a small frozen burrito, a taco bell taco, etc. But that does not restrict the amount I can eat in a day, and certainly not necessary to stay up at night. Is there a reason you can't eat slider foods, calorie dense foods, eat more frequently?

Food Before and After Photos
When you visit a village and don't realize it's completely shut down for the season. You go to the one restaurant that is open and eat the one dish they're serving Veggie soup Some type of ham luncheon loaf with a fried egg and Mac & cheese (with potatoes!)

That's tbd at this point. My current plan is week to week keep a low dose in my system that quiets food noise and gives some suppression that makes it easier to IF, but not so much I'll continue to lose weight.

Because restriction isn't everything. It's easy to eat around your restriction. Restriction doesn't stop hunger, or food noise, or just wanting to eat food that is delicious but calorie dense. I had 20# of "good" regain. I got too thin after WLS, and I didn't like how my body looked at that weight. The normal bounce was good for me, and is what I've found to be my ideal weight. Over the last 3.5 year I slowly gained weight. At 20# over my ideal weight, i didn't like what I saw in the mirror. So I got on a GLP routine and quickly and easily dropped the excess weight. IME, GLP's are going to be revolutionary. I'll likely use them as needed to regulate my weight indefinitely.

I'm 6.5 years out and still have a very restrictive sleeve. But I definitely seem to be an outlier. I can eat about 4 oz at a time. For instance a Taco Bell taco or small McDonald's hamburger. But even with small stomach capacity, it's easy to regain. My stomach empties quickly so there's nothing stopping me from eating to excess. I've had to make a conscious effort to maintain a weight I'm happy with. I use both IF and GLP meds. Along with calorie tracking for accountability.

Tummy Tuck items needed?
I bought way too much stuff. My only must haves were a shower chair and wedge pillow, and extra pillows. As far as massages and compression, that is all dependent on your surgeon's instructions.

Doubts about plastic surgery
I believe we should get the the bodies we want, and that doesn't necessarily stop at weight loss surgery. It's wonderful your husband thinks you're perfect, but he's not living in your body. And, yeah, you may want more procedures, but why not? If you can get a body you're comfortable in through plastics, why is that a bad thing? I've had two sets of plastic surgery (but not an arm lift). Recovery sucks in the short term. But what's a few week vs. being happy with your arms forever? Additionally, there is a study that shows that those who get plastics after WLS are more apt to keep the weight off. Anecdotally, the group of women I am in touch with on here who have had plastics, and all 5+ years out, and all have had no significant weight gain, outside the normal bounce.

Was anyone else afraid of stomach stretching when you had your surgery? I was. I had nightmares about accidentally eating a giant plate of food (hello anxiety! ?) Well six years post op next month and very little stretching! (A Rachel on sourdough with collard greens)

Combined Breast Uplift, side fat and arm lift?
There are very qualified surgeons in modern surgical facilities in Turkey. It is not at all accurate that there is necessarily a lower quality of care or lack of hygiene. Standards have changed quite dramatically in recent years.
