  1. Yes. I keep my hot tea and hot coffee on it all day. Also great to keep my broths warm!
  2. You can make these in a normal size waffle maker. Just put 1/4 of the batter in the center of it and press it down. The will make a cute little round shape. It doesn't spread cuz the batter is very thick. Have fun watching TV!!! (It was seriously honking good and 2 hours later I'm still full. Miracle.
  3. Saturday November 16, 57 F 20mo PO RNY, Maintenance 131.4lbs It was Saturday Shenanigans day and date day. We did our walking and worked in storage for a few hours moving boxes. That's how I justified Saturday afternoon in our little neighborhood place watching football and having a tequila and beer. Back down to the lower end of my maintenance window which feels better. We have no shenanigans planned for today other than I had a big brunch and probably won't eat until dinner. Think dinner will be foil wrapped basa filets. B-SF Peppermint Mocha Latte + SF Pumpkin Pie BC Latte (4oz PP) Brunch-Bacon Egg Cheese Chaffle + Grape Tomatoes AS-Nekkid Wings + Side Salad w/blue cheese dressing no croutons + baby carrots & celery with ranch + 1 tequila + Miller Lite with lime BS-1/2 Low Carb Wrap with BH Pepperoni, shredded cabbage, purple onion, WF Asian + Twin Peaks Protein Puffs + 1 whiskey + decaf coffee Daily Totals: 1250cals; 75g protein; 56g fat; 45g carbs; 13g fiber; 32g net carbs

Wow!!! What a difference those butt panties make! You look fabulous without, but dang with 'em...well hells! Get the animal print boots @AngieBear love the outfits!! @Sophie love those SM flats!
  6. Yes, I think it will hold up in a stir fry, just make sure it's the last thing added and toss gently. The texture is almost like a japanese omelette. Very delicate and silky.
  7. @ms.sss This brunch is for you, girl! First, I give you peppermint mocha protein latte with whipped cream. Yummeh! Totals: 20cals; 3g protein; 0g fat; 1g carbs; 1g fiber; 0g net carbs. Better living through chemistry. Next up. Drumroll please...my splurgy Sunday brunch. No leftovers. Totals: 321cals; 20g protein; 24g fat; 12g carbs; 5g fiber; 7g net carbs Ok, so this is a meal that filled me up. Actually stuffed me. I should left 1/4-1/3 on my plate or stopped with having 1oz of avocado rather than 2oz and leftoff the bacon.
  8. Congrats! You're doing great!!
  9. I knowwwwwww!!! Wah. So far no luck finding it here. I was so hopeful. Had thoughts of pumpkin PP ice cream! And PP Pumpkin egg custards.
  10. Also, here's the cauliflower recipe. I now switch out the heavy cream for a little fat free fairlife milk, drop the olive oil and use a couple of olive oil sprays to roast the garlic, and use neufchatel cheese to replace cream cheese. I dropped it down to 1 tbsp and add 1tbsp greek fat free yogurt. It's much lighter. You can also thin it down with stock, but the ff milk is easier. https://fluffychixcook.com/roasted-mashed-cauliflower-aka-roasted-smashed-fauxtatoes/ (and of course leave off the gobs of butter melting on top--this is creamed gravy to go with the low carb chicken fried steak)
  11. This is pretty dang good. You can add pumpkin to it and make it into a pumpkin version. https://fluffychixcook.com/impossible-eggnog-blender-pie-low-carb-gluten-sugar-free-magic/ Here's one from Elana's Pantry. I love her stuff. https://elanaspantry.com/vegan-pumpkin-pie/
  12. Bahahaahaha! True so true!!! Hang in there and just power through it. And remember, eat turkey. But you could also roast cauliflower with a light mist of olive oil, then blend in Cuisinart with 1 oz neufchatel cheese and ff mootopia or ff fairlife, then stir in 1 spoon of greek yogurt, s/p, roasted garlic is good in it too. I thin to consistency of mashed potatoes with the warmed fairlife milk. So good, doesn't leave you heavy or bloated.
  13. PP? Premier Protein. Oh and sorry. No, it's just chocolate PP with SF Torani Peppermint Syrup and B&C PP with SF Torani Pumpkin Pie Spice. I buy 2 bottles of each per year at World Market when they have them (right now). And they have to last me. LOL. Cuz generally I stay away from the SF devil and sucralose. But hey, I'm a mid-hedonist and sometimes better living through chemistry. AND TDF! Seriously delicious.
  14. Damn. Complete fomo. Right up to the runs part. ((hugs)) So worth it though. Right? Am I right? LOL. LOVE KB. Totes worth smelling like a meatsicle.
  15. First and foremost you have to treat your lows being a T1! ((hugs)) I'm sure you know just how much you have to eat to bring your sugars up x amount? I have reactive hypo and wake with lows in the mid-30s to mid-40s. I now have a rescue packet beside my bed that includes: blood sugar meter glucose chewable tablets glucose gummies 6oz orange juice nut butter nuts I always follow what ever glucose I need with the nuts or nut butter once my bg starts to rise (after about 30minutes of the glucose dose). That way my spike is minimized to bringing glucose back into the 80s. I find that 1-2 wafers or 2-3 gummies will get it done. That way I minimize damage. Can you rig something like that up for the future? I wouldn't worry about what you've had to do to keep out of hypo-land. You're doing your very best and I am betting that you will be in good shape when you hit the OR. Just keep following the plan. I know it's scary dealing with all of this and I hope you see an improvement in your T1 with the surgery!!
  16. You gotta! World Market has tons of em right now. You're gonna go coo-coo for them. Use my recipe or the link in my post here. It tastes just like bread and isn't eggy since there is no yolk in it. I never use yolks in my low carb bread analogues cuz it makes them taste burned and eggy. Yuck. I do use them in Rev Rolls, but protect how brown they get.
  17. Make a chaffle. So. DANG. Good! With avocado toast or with peanut butter smeared on it. So filling too! That looks beautiful!!! Makes me want it for lunch!
  18. Me2! It makes me happy happy to know I have a plan for today.
  19. Funny enough. I'm sure people think I spend hours on logging. But I store each "recipe" as a meal in my MFP. And since I'm a creature of habit and tend to repeat the same thing often, I just pop into Meals and click on the meal and the portion size. Cuz I put how many servings per recipe. So I only ate 1/2 of my soup yesterday and I put in .5 of the meal and boom. Done! Same thing with my dinner from our little Italian place. I can log in about 5 minutes or less per day.
  20. I added whatever spices or sauces. This one was asian so I did: 5 spice powder ginger powder garlic powder Walden Farms Asian Dressing (1tbsp) 1/2 tsp Sriracha Pepper 1/8tsp sesame oil egg whites ***** the other day I did mexican so I did: 1 tbsp salsa (your choice) cumin coriander garlic powder pepper ***** I also did italian 1 tbsp marinara basil oregano garlic And then either poach em or nuke em in 20second intervals until done. It takes me about 3 intervals in the micro and about 7-9 minutes on the stove top with a lid and barely simmering water.
  21. Yesterday was a big ol' food day for me. I was hungry all day. And so I ate. Oddly, I was also exhausted and in a crummy mood. I didn't even get up and walk yesterday cuz my mood was so bad and I was so tired. So I took a day off. Today I pay the piper cuz I'm up to 133.4lbs (pre-poopy weight). I am working on day 2 poopless, so I do think I can account for it beyond just having a ton of food in my body from yesterday. Fri, Nov. 15 Maintenance : 5'4" / 19mo PO Sleeve / 133.4 lbs B1-Protein Lattes (pumpkin pie + banana PP 4oz) B2-Open faced Chaffle McMuffin (egg + eggwhite + uncured hard salami + 2% deli deluxe cheese + Psylli Chaffle) L-1/2 Rec Green Soup (broccoli + spin + cabbage + asian stuff + broth + egg puff + shrimp) AS-Frigo Lite Cheesestick + uncured hard salami +almonds + baby carrots D-Caprese stack + broccoli & garlic + spinach & garlic + grilled chicken + 2 glasses cabernet + 1 espresso with heavy cream BS-almonds + 1 square Lindt 90% Dark Chocolate Daily Totals: 1509cals; 91g protein; 85g fat; 49g carbs; 16g fiber; 33g net carbs
  22. Call your doc. I'm betting it's the Celebrex doing it. Maybe you need carafate again?
