  1. Ha! These are good, yes?! Try the protein fluff, too. They've been around the LC world from when I was even just starting in 2000, but they are just old tried and trues. You can make both of them so many ways. For me, they are good maintenance foods, but I never lost great with 'em. But boy they sure take care of any sweet cravings.
  2. It's a legit great word! Thanks for the support!! I know that meals and days like this are gonna happen for sure. It's part of why I don't plan for these days. I plan for 100% compliance. Cuz I figure the reality is if I can keep it to about a 90/10 ratio, then I have some chance of keeping the weight off. You know? Do you ever feel that way?
  3. This is where I get them. They often have BOGO specials on them. I love the Vitacost brand of them. And love the Vitacost brand of Peanut Butter Slim too.
  4. OK, this was super duper hard to write this out and it's even more difficult to post it. Yesterday was supposed to be an IF DD for both Mr. F. and me. And at least he fasted until our "Linner" at 4pm yesterday. (Late Lunch/Early Dinner). There is absolutely NO reason for this day to have happened. I wasn't sad, lonely, etc...I have been draggin trail lately, getting up super early to work and working late and working hard. But that's not really a viable excuse. I dodged (maybe) a bullet with this one. But I'm probably just dehydrated and the pounds will show up tomorrow. I literally ate all day yesterday. Maybe in 2-3hour intervals! I was having a starvin' marvin' day and my will power was AWOL>clearly. LOL. I'm not beating myself up. Just tellin' it like it is. And trying to have a good plan for moving through today. So far today I'm doing good with the usual protein latte brekky, + 1/4c of the tuna salad mid morning and then the low carb fried rice and soup for lunch. When I have days like this, there is no doubt in my mind how I contributed to my part in making the Obesity Ball. Don't leave me hangin'. What is it? Spill it! ((hugs)) You are tiny! I'm 2 inches taller than you and there is no way I could even think about squeezin using the jaws of life to get into a size 4. My mighty teradactile thighs laugh at the idea.

  9. Rest and have a great day. You've done a ton already this morning!!! The new foods sound delish. Let us know how you like them. Have you tried thickenup? To thicken up your drinks so you don't asperate?
  10. Also this is ridiculously easy and delicious. For post WLS, I'd cut back on the butter and oil though. But that's just me. If I cook it with that much now, I'd be curled on the bathroom floor asking waiting for death. Brown Butter Pumpkin
  11. Oh yes! We love it! Also Red Kuri? Have never mashed it, only roasted it with butter s/p. Will have to try it mashed!!
  12. Great points! I still have chili in Deep Space 9 from last year. LOL.
  13. Ok, I made a dish for lunch today that is one of my favorites. It makes 4 cups = 4 meals for me and is so filling and is a perfect ratio of protein to calories per serving if you top it with an egg. You can add whatever veggies you want to this, but was out of all fresh veggies other than my cauliflower. So I used the last of the frozen veggies (non-Asian...kserrynotserry) but the taste was still the bomb. You can do this with or without the sauce but the sauce really makes it. In fact, I then, drizzle each serving with a tiny bit of the Walden Farms Asian Dressing (zero cals) + sriracha. So amazing. Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice FCC Style (Fluffy Chix Cook). Yield: 4 servings (1cup each) For the Stirfry (full recipe): 414calories; 50g protein; 12g fat; 22g carbs; 9g fiber; 11g net carbs For the Sauce (full recipe): 48 calories; 0g protein; 0g fat; 4g carbs; 0g fiber; 4g net carbs For the Recipe WITH Sauce (full recipe): 462 calories; 50g protein; 12g fat; 26g carbs; 9g fiber; 17g net carbs Per Serving With An Egg Topper (for 1 serving): 184 calories; 18g protein; 8g fat; 7g carbs; 2g fiber; 5g net carbs I make this sauce and keep it in the fridge at all times. I used powdered garlic, ginger and five spice powder in it. But when I have fresh, I choose fresh. It give bolder flavor. You can use as little or as much of it as you want. I just dry saute the veg in a non-stick pan sprayed with a shot of evoo. I estimate it adds about 1/2 tsp of olive oil to the dish. I also rinse the Miracle Rice in cold water and dry fry it in the same pan until it dries out. Then I add the cauli rice to it and dry saute with spices. The add the sauce to it and toss to coat. Then I toss all the other veggies and meats that I dry sauteed previously so it all gets coated with the sauce. I also fry the egg whites separately. I cook it all separately and very quickly. And I usually use left over chicken and shrimp. Today it was LO chicken, but fresh cooked shrimp. Here are the pics.
  14. Ok, you guys got me jonesing for asian. And I'm literally out of all fresh veggies right now until I can get my ass to the store to shop a big shop. Ugh. So I made the equivalent of "stone soup" with lc fried rice. And remember, almost no ACTUALLY AUTHENTIC asian ingredients were harmed in the making of this dish. LOL. This is for one serving (the macros). I will post the pic of the dish with recipe over in the Meal Prep thread to give some love to it. It makes 4 servings of 1 cup each + fried egg if you make one. You don't need to top it with an egg, I just did to up the protein for the meal a bit. But you could also add more egg whites, or tofu, or more chicken/shrimp to up the protein as well. This is for 1 cup of fried rice with an egg cooked with just a spritz of olive oil spray. Totals: 184 calories; 18g protein; 8g fat; 7g carbs; 2g fiber; 5g net carbs (plus I had a cup of the broth that I used to steep the shrimp before hand with a couple of drops of sesame oil and sriracha but those tallies aren't in here.)
  15. me2 hehe I actually made lc pizza that was pretty dang tasty. nuked an lc tortilla til crisp, then topped it and into the air fryer it went until melty. So so so so obscenely good.

  19. Congrats on surgery. My highest all time was 325lbs. My most recent high when I started this journey in May of 2017 I weighed 287lbs and was 256lbs the first visit and weigh in with the surgeon. I weighed 222lbs on surgery day at 6 months into the program. I reached 1st goal at 7 months I think? That was 150lbs. This morning post poopy I weighed 131.4lbs. It will happen quicker than you think. In general expect 2-4lbs of loss per week as average. The first two months people usually lose their most weight cuz that's when they are eating the least.
