  11. Sorry for the rough news but honestly the greater fear may be Cancer... Returning GERD or the sudden onset of GERD is a known risk of VSG. This revision surgery is about preventing a malicious disease from developing and improving your quality of life. Good Luck ?
  12. Same! the therapist even instructed me that they were not allowed to touch the abdomen directly because the surgeon did not want to shift those tissues around.

  16. One time when someone asked the poet Sophocles: "How are you in regard to sex, Sophocles? Can you still make love to a woman?" Hush man, the poet replied, I am very glad to have escaped from this, like a slave who has escaped from a mad and cruel master" Plato, The Republic (329 c).
  17. I also read (somewhere, sorry i can't remember) that there are pyloric preservation style RNYs where the intestines are rerouted and connect just below the sphincter. Perhaps that's an option also, IDK
  18. Hmmmm, That's something to discuss with your NUT/Team. I didn't even think about regularly eating breads until maintenance. The one I eat: Joseph's Lavash Bread, Flax Oat Bran & Whole Wheat, Reduced carbs Here's the breakdown
  19. Pure hot cocoa (100% cocoa, water, half&half and stevia) with sugar free whipped cream #Reusablecup? #NotStarbucks? #Keepingmymoney?
  20. I've been eating 1/4 - 1/3 of the Lavash bread instead of 1/2 (serving size) How much do you use?
  21. Same. I didn't obsess much over food before WLS, but after surgery it became necessary to track everything so i felt i was focusing too much on food. I didn't care for the amount of effort that took so I resorted to eating variations of the same thing, often. I can estimate my intake this way and that makes it easier for me now. I can now focus on other things more ? Hopefully down the line you will find a method that works for you. But do try to stay diligent and aware to keep the possibility of recidivism low. Good Luck ?
