Thank you! I developed VSG complications about 1.5 yrs after surgery(GERD, stricture) and needed to be revised to fix them.

My 7th revision surgiversary recently passed and I wanted to provide a small update. Everything is still humming along nice and calm. Weight is stable, habits are set and I am not complaining. I am grateful that life is uneventful and feels completely normal. I haven’t taken many photos these days but here’s a few including my birthday cake. Cheers to another year!

Do you have the ability to see a gastroenterologist? Thats where I would start (after seeing your Bariatric team)

You have done great! I think I was very close to where you are at 1 year post op. Not everyone hits their lowest weight by then, it may take longer.

How did it go?

I don’t know what I expected in terms of longevity of my plastics procedures but everything has settled well and feels really natural so I am satisfied.

I definitely feel like the time and financial investment into plastics has made me more vigilant about maintaining my results. I can’t believe this November will be my 9th year post VSG and this July will be my 7th year post RNY. Where has the time gone? And WOW you both look GREAT. Such a beautiful couple, the coordinated outfits are chefs kiss 🩷

It’s been too long time since I have posted anything about my plastics results or clothing fitment. I can’t believe it’s been 5-6 years. I am usually a S/M top and M/L bottom these days. Maybe a 6/8 but sizing varies so much these days that I don’t chase numbers anymore. I am still very happy with my results.
