One year post op

  • Popular Post

Today is my 1 year anniversary of my surgery, time really did fly

I was over 300lbs when I started and now, I'm so close to "one"derland, something I never thought was possible anymore

I know my journey is far from over, the real work starts now.

How are things progressing? Are you closer to your goal? Fun at the gym today - my spotter, the handsome Pirate from the Caribbean!

I've actually hit a bit of a stall, for the last 2 months or so, it seems I've been yo-yo-ing the same 5lbs., I'll go up a few lbs, then go down again, but I haven't gone below 218lbs.

I decided to follow the diet I was given when I had to prep my body for surgery, I hope that helps

P.S. You're spotter is very handsome lol

Bambi - Your body has experienced a major change in weight also adjusting to a new way of eating for the better. It's normal if you are staying compliant for things to shift up and down a bit. You will balance out in time. Try to go back to our threads in 2019 - 2021... I think you will find them helpful and encouraging. Cheering you on! YAY! BTW, why not go under 200 - say 195? It may feel even more rewarding in a new decade... the 90's😃!
