  1. I left a 2litter semi open (not tightly closed) there was not even a cup amount in the bottle and the next day there was still bubbles! I took off the top and by the evening it was gone! *tear.... My hubby had thrown it away because it was flat. That was clue this was not a good idea. Bad habbit & I shouldn't make exceptions.
  2. I am seriously in mourning! I have one more week of this soft food stuff and I want food food.... I drive and we billboards with fast food places... I want it! Everything I see I want. I think and drink my water and move on. I get on this site, Facebook, or pintrest! Anything to get my focus off of food. I feel weak right now (not fizzled but not strong). I had hoped I wouldn't feel hunger but I feel HUNGRY all of the time! Help!
  3. I stopped drinking soda in January for all my post op stuff, and was over it pretty fast. But now that I'm on the other side and can't have it at all I'm going nuts! I want a big cup of ice cold diet coke. My hubs has been amazing not drinking around me but now I miss it! Trying to focus but I want one!
  4. You need personal counseling. Go by yourself, get tools to work on you... Not saying there is anything wrong! But you need someone on your side routing for you! And any good couples counselor would see past his games during session, and work on the real stuff. Be strong know what you want and go for it! Maybe this is a good time to reconcile with mom & family? Sending hugs
  5. 3 weeks today and I've been stuck at 25 pounds for 4 days kinda freaking out too :-/
  6. I had the same experience, I had to pay surgeon up front... Ok I was told 6 weeks ahead felt I could work with that. THE DAY BEFORE my scheduled surgery I go to register at the hospital and I have to pay upfront my part of the 3 day stay 1,900. I seriously broke down in tears. Why didn't I get a letter? Well my surgeon.staff tells everyone you can make payments to hospital whatever your portion is. I have a funky insurance so mine was high. But I had no choice. I was sad then paid and it turn to furious!....I feel your pain.
  7. I got a cherry flavor it was salty and sour and tasted more like a jolly rancher in liquid form. Hated it! It will kick in soon enough! Best of luck tomorrow!
  8. I'm so sorry! I'm 3 weeks Wednesday and I'm feeling like crap lately too. Which is weird because I had been feeling so good. I can only drink water food and protein shakes gross me out. Best of luck!!
  9. I don't how but for a moment I forgot and drank from a straw *starbucks Passion tea* and as I stopped myself I felt dumb for forgetting. Lol but nothing happened...
  10. I'm 3 weeks on Wed. Last week we went to baskin ribbons as a treat for my visiting family. I ate the kids size frozen yogurt but no dumping or throwing up. Kinda wish I had but my mom who is 2 years post op never has dumped or vomited....
  11. I can NOT wait! I thought about yesterday as I got out of the shower.... Thinking that would be an awesome milestone for me! Congrats on yours! That's awesome! My moment was Friday night *and I'm going to be 3 weeks post op Wed. I put a dress on that I wore 3 years ago it felt great. My hubby said I better wear it before I swim in it;) felt great
  12. Yes, figure out your priorities. Mentioning your reasons are because of surgery is probably out of fear and manipulation. Hang in there & be strong! Best wishes!
  13. That is amazing! To feel and see the changes!
  14. But you are waiting long. Get better! Praying for you!
  15. I'm 2.5 weeks post op and I'm sick of my food options: fish, cottage cheese, cheese, and all broths... I find myself drinking water more than food but I feel horrible! I went out and bought a new flavor of protein powder. Wish me luck! Everything grosses me out!
  16. Yeah, its crazy! But its a relief not having to pee when your fresh out of surgery.... Even the day after its hard! I had gas pain, I was hooked to iv I have these leg squeezers on I had to take those off, unplug my iv, get up and walk to the bathroom....
  17. Ask away! I didn't find this site until after my surgery. I wish I would found before the support, answers, and just people who have been there is awesome!
  18. My surgeon has his patients alseep when they put it in. Kinda odd for me I was awake when they did for a csection. But I was out..... When I woke up they didn't take it out until the next day and that was painless! Don't worry about just relax and take a deep breath.
  19. I think its different for everyone. I started all of my pre op stuff January 30th. I needed to do 12 weeks of classes and other stuff... My surgery was 7/25. I was told I had to lose 10% so I ate very healthy no breads, Pasta, rice and walked. On day of surgery I lost exactly 30lbs I was shy 8lbs but it was ok. I didn't need a pre liquid diet just liquid day before.
  20. Hey guys riverside here
  21. Get plenty of rest and walk when you can! Yay for post op. Wishing you a speedy and healthy recovery! *high five for falling pants!* its a great feeling:)
  22. I think that's an honest feeling. I don't have boobs either but have a butt. I honestly can't even imagin myself at 160... Or 200 for that matter. But no matter my size I want to be healthy.
