Been Stalled For 2 Weeks

Surgery was 7/23. I lost 30 lbs pretty quick now that I am past the puree stage it feels like I am stalled. I am getting 80 grams of protein a day, all my vitamins and nothing. I will gain a lb then lose it. What is going on???

  • 3 weeks today and I've been stuck at 25 pounds for 4 days kinda freaking out too :-/

  • I have been at this for 6 months. I have had so many stalls I cant even count them. But I have an app on my phone that keeps track of my weight and it says I have lost 4.2 lbs a week since I started

I keep reading on here that it's normal but why does this happen? I track everything I eat on my fitness pal and I barley ts keep in 600 calories but I do take in my protein, next to no sugar and very low fat send carbs.

Im not sure the reason i shoulda asked the dr ... I read something about your body going thru starvation mode but i dono...says is could last anywher from 2-6 weeks...

Weird I don't feel like I'm starving at all. Besides I was 335 preop, my body has plenty of stored up fat it can use. :) I wish I could work out more but doc said I still need to wait for another week or so.

I had my surgery july 5th dr released me to strt weight training im hoping that helps jump kick the weight loss..until then ill keep doing mu diet like the dr sys and im sure it will get going its juss frustrating.. Keep ur head up dnt give up :)

Stalled out at 75 lbs and it sucks. It's been almost 3 weeks. I do all the right things so I need to stay positive and hope it starts again soon

Guys be happy for what you have lost until now and stay away from that dreaded scale it will make you loopy! If you are doing everything right it will come off, just imagine how happy you will be when you weigh yourselves in two weeks you have a big loss! Keep working your tool and everything will fall in place!

So not too shabby. Dont give up. You arent doing anything wrong. Your body is adjusting to alot of crap right now including the reduction in calories. In our mind we think okay I am eating a hell of alot less then I used to be and I should be losing like a fiend. Unfortunatly these overweight bodies of ours like to hold onto the fat for as long as it cans, I dont know why. But I guess what I am trying to say is in the grand scheme of things, if you are doing everything you are supposed to be doing that weight is gonna come off. Patience my friends... not an easy virtue but in this game of ours we are in, we have to have it. By the way 107 lbs gone in six months and I stall out at least twice a month.

You will go threw those moments. I had like two weeks after 3 weeks I didnt lose. Then I went to doctor & I lost weight.

I was juss concerned i was doing something wrong but now that i no im ok ill stop panicing plus i feel so good i can actually talk and walk without losing my breathe :)-
