  1. Hi! 389 was my starting weight too.... Get on myfitnesspal and set your calorie max to 2500 or lower (that's where I started and moved down to 1700 every 2 weeks). I also exercised 4 days a week for 30 min just walked on treadmill and did biggest loser dvd walking video. No soda and drink 64 oz of water daily. I lost 30 lbs.

  3. I slept on my stomach 7 days out it was the first night I slept all night. I remember being sore but nothing else

  9. I have the same card.... Just got the ok to eat food, but I've glanced at menus to see what kids meals have and like dennys is pizza mac&cheese cheese burger I think in most cases the senior menu would be a better choice.
  10. So Im able to eat anything now (but red meat and bread, pasta, & tortilla) I ate chicken for dinner and I obviously didn't chew enough I threw it up it took 3 up chucks to get the 3 pieces up. It wasn't as bad as I thought to get the food out, but now I'm scared! I called it quits and am having soup for dinner.... Safe! Failed first day. Maybe I was just to excited to eat food/chew!

  14. I just had my 1 month post op appointment and I've stalled the last week, and was told its because we aren't eating much and our bodies want to hold it. I'm clear for exercise now so I'm eating chicken and going to get this going! 1 month down 26lbs From my highest/January down 56lbs!
  15. I had the mirena iud put in about 6 weeks before surgery and all doctors were good with it!
  16. Sobe life or rock stars? Rock stars: that was totally pre op:) I'm an ex rock star junky lol no energy drinks ever
  17. Yum! I was really loving those coconut rock stars, but I have to try those. I love coconut water!
  18. I just talked to a friend who went into surgery 4 days after me the exact same thing JUST happened to her & she is 3 weeks out! Wow ... Take it easy!
  19. Really not looking forward to this experience when I go back to work they do Starbucks, donuts, lunches oh man I'm in for some venting next week!

  22. I needed to lose 10% so my insurance has a program for the surgery and there is calorie counting and exercising. Day of surgery I was 8 pounds short, but k think the doctors want to see that you're trying.
