I am finally home and feeling a bit better, after every imaginable test it was concluded that I had simply pulled a muscle/upset an incision site!! NO INFECTION! NO FURTHER INJURY!!

The doctor said it wouldn't have seemed so bad if I had continued to take my dilaudid (morphine) but due to some personal issues I stopped taking that stuff days ago.

All in all, I am JUST fine!!

Glad to hear your ok slow down let your self heal.

We all want to get back to living ( nobody more then me)

But have to go slow or my wife will kick my butt

I just talked to a friend who went into surgery 4 days after me the exact same thing JUST happened to her & she is 3 weeks out!

EXACTLY what my hubby just said! I didn't even realize I had overdone anything, in fact I was worried I was being lazy!! Doctor told me my ONLY job for the next week is to eat sleep and heal lol sure learned my lesson!!

When they said I had to do the barium drink/X-ray to look for perforations I totally started crying, I was SO worried they would have to put me under and open me up, I was SO glad they were able to rule out anything too serious pretty quick!

That's what happened to me last week along with the dehydration. I has to have a ct scan with contrast because the docs thought it was a bad hernia. It ended up being a pulled muscle.
