  2. Goodwill. Also my doctor’s office had a clothing exchange every month at the time of our monthly support group meetings so we would all bring the clothes that no longer fit and take what does fit at the time of the meeting. Hardly bought any new items because of the rapid weight loss and you never know where you will end up in size.

  4. My blood pressure ran from 95/55 to 115/75 in the hospital. Now it is running anywhere from 110/70 to 120/75. If you dont feel well I would also recommend calling your doctor. I was on meds prior to surgery and once I left the hospitalI was told not to take my meds anymore. At least that makes one less medication for me post-op! surgery date: 7/30/12
  5. Surgery will come around so fast that you won't even believe it. :-) good luck! surgery date: 7/30/12
  6. My dietician said that salads are empty calories which only fill u up. So then u will not have enough room for your protein. I was told I can introduce salads at 12 weeks post op. surgery date: 7/30/12
  7. Maybe starting all Over again? I mean it by starting to eat what you use to eat right after surgery? Increase Protein and decrease calories? I was told that by my nutritionist that if weight loss stalls at any time, to go back to the early stages of post surgery. surgery date: 7/30/12
  8. I was told no Protein bars until 12 weeks post op. anyone else told that? If not, when did you start eating Protein Bars? surgery date: 7/30/12

  11. Everyone is different. Some people are big boned and weigh more even though they look smaller. Never ever compare yourself to anyone else. We are all unique:-) surgery date: 7/30/12
  12. I think that is what has been happening to me. I'm eating too fast and feeling sick to my belly. I have to slow down as well. surgery date: 7/30/12
  13. For sure!!! How rude!!! I would have had the hospital director in that room immediately to apologize and write up that PA! Pain is no fun:-( surgery date: 7/30/12
  14. Hi everyone. I actually went online to www.batiatricchoice.com and bought some fabulous foods that have Protein in them. For example, some hot chocolate that has 12 grams of protein per serving or some chips that also have 12 grams of protein. Just a thought to help with getting over that craving. I also got some chips but I actually threw the bag away but was able to take some snapshots in the computer. Here are pictures of what I am talking about. Let me know if any of you have tried any of the products or if you end up trying in the future. Good luck! surgery date: 7/30/12
  15. No. They r used for the same purpose but Biotin is in pill form and biosil is the drops. surgery date: 7/30/12
