  4. First of all your feelings are totally justified. You can do it!
  5. It was great. Tons of walking and bike riding we had a fun time.... We are thinking of going again maybe in the winter- snow:)
  6. Wow that's awesome!!! Happy for you:)
  7. It was the bright angel trail we started at 5am lol I thought that was too early but I was so glad we started that early.
  8. I still feel cheated that I don't dump! Lol no seriously! I feel this would have kept me honest! Now I just have to be mindful and very aware of sugars! Mind over matter! Plus I love oj! But tons of sugars
  9. I'm one year post op this month and my summer vacation was pretty great. We went to Grand Canyon for a week. I finished a 3 hour hike in canyon but as many know it takes twice as long coming up than going down, but I made it. When I finished I was glad to have my 3 year post Mother with me. I got kinda emotional telling her one year ago this would have been impossible! We were so proud. Although at times I wondered how long it would take to get a mule or helicopter to get me out! Lol I took tons of pics going down and like 1 coming up! I'm so glad to have been blessed with the chance to live a healthier life style that would include hiking!
  10. Such motivation and support! I LOVE IT an God knows, I need it! day 2 also holding strong. I am walking on my breaks just to get some more steps in my day. I never like to set myself up to fail, so goal setting was never my thing when it only applied to my health/weight. So I'm going for it. Thanks for all the amazing support and I will defiantly keep you all posted and please let me know how it's going for you all! Cheers to goals and finish lines!
  11. Thank you everyone for the support! Today has been a great day! I did very well eat wise and did Zumba. Day one... Check! Thanks again for support. I also think 199-200 is a crazy cant wrap my mind around it since I was probably 199-200 when I was in 5th grade! Lol But I'm determine to try my hardest and work this as hard as I can.
  12. Okay, I've had this unspoken goal in mind. I'm turning 30 Sept 8th. I would LOVE to be 199-200 on my birthday. I am 237lbs today just as I have for the last 2 weeks. So before everyone says how I can do it I want you to know I've averaged 6-10lbs a month for the last 3 months so 37lbs in 2 months is such an unrealistic goal to me. But I'm sooo close and sooo far away So I'm putting out there! Today marks 2 months away! I'm starting at step one. cheese sticks deli meats Protein drinks and bars and turkey, chicken, tuna ONLY I'm going to do 60 min of Zumba for 5 days a week. I just got back from vacation and did very good!!! My surgiversay is 7/25 for ONE year. I may be setting myself up with an unrealistic goal but I know I won't be disappointed if I turn 30 at 236:) I'm still in a far better situation than myself one year ago. But if I say my goal out loud (plus my hubby knows and supports and thinks I can do it! Lol) out loud should keep me moving, burning, and losing! Fingers crossed for a 30, flirty and thriving birthday! Hw 389 sw 359 today 237 my bday 9/8
  13. Going to try this for sure!!!
  14. I braved it and slept on my stomach early on maybe 5 days post I was newly post op! I did it slept GREAT! I remember I was scared and rolled over slowly.
  15. I've found myself at luncheons serving normal (to them) plate of what I can eat and talking.... Bite.... Talk.... Fork down..... They finish first and we all get up together. When I'm throwing away all the food minus what I ate I say I ate a big breakfast, you didn't see me snacking before the luncheon?!, or my new fav it just wasn't good food, I'm saving my appetite for my dinner date or I have another meeting after this! I've become quit the fibber!!! I don't think the entire world should know even though I've told a lot of people. After my white lies people don't ask. Works for me! Good luck!
  16. Lol it's kinda old but it's soooo funny:)
  17. All of the time!!! Lol well not all the time, but seems all to often. I always try and snack on protein: cheese sticks deli meats hard boiled eggs but then the days I want m&ms and Cookies Good luck!
  18. Because I know how big of deal this is.... I share in your happiness!!! congrats! Keep doing what your doing!
  19. Seen the informercial for the DVD last night and it looks soooo fun! So tempted to buy it! Please let me know how it going
