My throat is still sore from the intubation during surgery. I can tell the the roof of my mouth is scratched up, so most likely my throat is scratched up also. Any suggestions on a cure?

I felt that exact thing with my c-section and expected it with my rny surgery.... Didn't happen. But from my experience it just takes time. Ny voice was in and out too. give it time to heal. Best of luck

That's a very good suggestion. Warm liquids or sf ice pops may make you more comfortable. Hoarness, sore throat, and cuts in your mouth are all normal parts of anesthesia and they just take a little time but it wont last forever!

Thanks everyone. I'm about to go gargle with warm salt water now. The popsicles have been helping.
