  3. I'm doing as well as can be expected. Not only is this a major life change, but also it was my first surgery. My body feels really beat up, but it's my throat that is really killing me! It feels like they used their foot to shove the intubation tube in..lol. But other than that, all is well. How are you Deege?
  4. U really can see the difference. You look great!
  5. And also, in my liquid phase, I am allowed cream soups, yogurt & pudding as long as they're strained before eating.
  6. My nutritionist told me only 2 grams of added sugar. She said if its more than 2 grams to check the first 5 ingredients on the label and if their are added sugars and syrups do not touch. But if it's sugars that are naturally in the food, I would be fine.
  7. Awesome! If feels great being a loser!
  8. Good luck ladies! I'm praying for your speedy recovery!
  9. Thanks everyone. I'm about to go gargle with warm salt water now. The popsicles have been helping.
  10. My throat is still sore from the intubation during surgery. I can tell the the roof of my mouth is scratched up, so most likely my throat is scratched up also. Any suggestions on a cure?

  19. If I didn't have problems with my PCP, It would have only took about 2 months. I believe I was approved in June. My surgery is August 6th. But, it really does depend on your insurance. If you have an unsupportive PCP, it can take longer.
  20. It didn't take me long although it could have been a lot sooner. My consult was in February, but my PCP was being a butthole! But pretty much after I was ok'd for surgery and insurance approved me, it only took two months. My surgery is this coming Monday. Good luck to you! Everything will happen for you. It's the waiting that really sucks!
  21. Welcome and congratulations on your decision to make your life a healthier one!
