Had my surgery july 5 2012... At 32 i felt the walls of my weight crashing in may 2011 i had an heart attack 2 months later in july 2011 another.. I instantly went on every diet lost 20 lbs and thought i was doing great till a routine check up in april 2012 had a irregular ekg. My dr told me then at 289lbs and 5'2 i would have 5 yrs to live at this rate therfore i got serious and had the surgery.. The first week after was horrible the head hunger left me in tears most days then week 2 came along and it started to get easier now here i am at week 4 ya i have some gas and nausea but this is god giving me the tools and a second chance at life im 40 pounds lighter no longer do i have chest pain.. God gave me my life back
