  1. They just don't know how much we suffered/ suffer everyday. Before with the weight and illnesses and now with trying to use the tool to make us healthy so we can be 'normal'. It makes me angry and sad. Easy way out. Blah. I will refrain from swearing.
  2. Nope not crazy. I wonder around the kitchen at night looking for my friend. Sad! lol
  3. The weight must come off. . I know this will sound odd but I remind myself that if the body would permanently refuse to loss weight there would be no one that is anorexic. Please understand I don't want to be there. I'm just trying to remind myself logically. We are burning way more then we take in. Oooooommmmm. (Meditation lol).
  4. Wow!! You look amazing!!! Congrats! I'm at 27 post op. six weeks tomorrow.
  5. I'm out six weeks and still can hardly do three bottles. Ugh
  6. Started in a 20 on 11-19. Now I'm in a 16-18. I wanna be an 8. I was that in high school.
  7. I'm in the same boat. Down 27 and had surgery on 11/19. At around 600-650 calories a day. I know I need to exercise more but my weight loss had always been slow. I know I'm in starvation mode. The last few days I'm not hungry but I feel my body craving food. I also feel my blood sugar drop around meal times. Don't fret. It will come off. But I've become terrified I won't get lower then 231. That's always the weight I can't get below. We shall see. :-)
  8. I know I will always be addicted to food. I'm just hoping like hell this "tool" will give me enough time to change some of my habits. Welcome and good luck to you.
  9. I was told Tylenol cold. But I would talk to your dr. Good luck. Feel better!
  10. Well with mine nothing stayed down at all. I hope you just have some swelling. Feel better soon!!!
  11. I tried it yesterday and was able to eat it but just felt weird afterwards.
  12. I think mine is the high one. 5000 mg
  13. I had mine 11-19. Pain was manageable but had nausea. That sucked. Was home on day three. Healing takes a long time especially internally but you should be moving around pretty good after a few days home. There are ups and downs but it gets better each week unless there are complications which are on the rarer side. I slept in the lazy boy for a while. I'm a stomach sleeper and didn't want to roll over. Followed a liquid diet for two weeks. Now on soft/puréed foods. Good luck.
  14. SW: 275 DOS: 262 11-19-2012 Today: 237.6 I'm down about 2 1/2 this week. Better than last weeks 0. :-)
  15. You are doing fine! It took me a few weeks to be able to get in 60 grams. I am almost 6 weeks out and still struggle on some days. Do the best you can and like Michele said stay hydrated!! That is the most important thing right now. As far as the fruit is concerned, most is too high in sugar or seeds for your new pouch. I had applesauce yesterday and it still made me feel weird. LOL Good luck to you!!
  16. I'm five weeks out now and about two weeks ago i started using very little franks red hot on some chicken. Took it slow and I seemed to be ok.
  17. Wow that sounds good!
  18. Hey Peachee! Glad to hear from you! Keep up the good work!
  19. Good Grief you are tiny! Congrats!!!!!! :D
  20. I think it is because they are tougher when scrambled. I mean who wants runny scrmabled eggs. gag. I am going to try poached first.
  21. from the heeling process, sometimes your opens start to close off and "resctrict" your intake, usually around your stomach. Could this be an ulcer developing? The burning sounds concerning.... Hope you feel better!! Let us know.
  22. It is a hard habit to break. I was doing well for a while now I find myself wandering around the kitchen at night looking for food and I am not even hungry. I can't believe how much I use to pick at food. I always felt hungry. Thank goodness this gives us a few months to retrain ourselves before the real hunger starts to come back.
