  1. Sammi, Congrats! and I am glad to hear you are doing well. As Vicki said, take it slow and follow the process. You will have good days and bad days but overall each day gets better. Im about 7 weeks out and feel really good. Just don't push yourself! :-) Wishing you a speedy reocvery!
  2. Also try the Nextar chocolate truffle. It was the only one I could get down for weeks.
  3. Congrats and we are here for you!!! You will do great. Just rem to take it day by day and don't rush the process. If you need help or encouragement just ask away!!
  4. Cool! My other offices for work are in West Chester and Lancaster. I'm out that way all the time.
  5. Tink, well put. I feel the same way!!
  6. Once and a while I will have a few almonds chewed to nothing. They are good for a quick snack at work I I can't stop. I was released to regular food at 8 weeks including salads. Not going there yet don't have room after the protein. I will have a few crackers as well with a baby bel or lunch meat. I have mixed feelings about tuna right now. I need to try the low fat/ff mayo.
  7. I'm dyeing away. I'm 40 with gray hair. I'm not going to be bald and gray. Ugh.
  8. Well there are a few of us on here that are at the half cup size at about two months out and can eat tortillas. (Ive just picked at them). So I don't think you have stretched anything. I would go back to basics with food high protein first then veggies. You pouch will be able to hold more over time. Hang in there and good luck.
  9. Girl, you sound like me. Lol. The good people of the board pulled me off the ledge last week. We will be fine. Now if I can get that to sink into my brain I will be good. Hang in there and take it day by day.
  10. Haven't tried them yet. Thanks!
  11. Hi!! Welcome. We are here for you! I was a mess the first two weeks. Crying, pimples, greasy hair and husband stuck to the couch. Lol. He's great but... :-). You'll be ok. I'm seven weeks out and feel pretty great. What ever you need just ask. We will be here for you.
  12. I saw your post on MFP. I agree. It's hard to stretch your pouch unless you over eat all the time and you'd feel that. I'm only 7 weeks out but I can tell you at my TOM I don't get hunger but I need to eat more often. My blood sugar gets low faster so my body is hungry. Take a deep breath and just go back to basics with food as the others stated so well.
  13. Honey, I am sooooo sorry. No matter what, take care of you! You have to be healthy for those kids.
  14. AWESOME!! I am so happy for your!!! You are an inspiration
  15. I use pure protein bars (soft and low carb) and Nectar chocolate truffle with skim milk for breakfast.
  16. I use BA chocolate raspberry. I love it. It is my lunch 'dessert'.
  17. I can't take the smell. You do get used to it the farther out you are. When I open the container I still hold it away from my face. Hang in there!!!
  18. No I have not seen her around. I do hope she is ok. On a side note, I can start salads next week. Scared and excited LOL
  19. Thanks ALL!! Patience has never been a virtue of mine. We all have to learn to breathe!
  20. It will come off! Your body is just in shock. Hang in there drink, protein and take your vitiamins. Where in PA? I am in the Pittsburgh area.
  21. I was told nothing over ten for at least six weeks.
  22. I gained 12 pounds after surgery. Ugh
  23. I learned a long time ago that if I don't weigh everyday I get way to lax in my eating. I have kept it to once a day.
