Surgery went well yesterday. Alot of pain last night but feel great today. Getting a little potassium because it was a little low. But all is well!

My surgery is the 27th. First week of people op liquid diet was hard. Now though I have ti drink these shakes called impact the last 5 days before surgery and they are disgusting! I have been struggling with this diet and want to eat real food all the time. Now adding this "impact stuff is making me rethink things. Do I have the strength to stick with everything now and after surgery?

Im taking biotin also. It sounds vain but I love my hair and want to keep it.

12/27 here. Struggling with my preop diet but very excited!

I've told those I think need to know. I understand family not being supportive. My mom was the last person I told and I knew how it would go. She doesn't understand why I cant just eat less and walk a little. She believes im taking the easy way out, if she only understood how hard this will be. Having bypass on 12/27. Good luck to you!
