So excited I finally have a date! 12/27/12! Anyone have any advice about getting thru christmas while on the pre-op diet?

Keep in mind what your final goal is, that should keep it all in perspective. Best of luck to you. I can't wait for my date in April or May.

Just remember why you are doing it and don't beat yourself up if you have a slip up. It's ok just get back on track. Good luck! It will be hard. I'm still on puréed foods and liquids.

Congrats and good luck. Yes this is a rough time of year to be on any restrictive diet. But you can do it.. Just plan ahead. Maybe eat something you can have before you go to the different gatherings so you aren't so hungry. One thing for sure these next couple of weeks are going to fly for you because of so many things going on. Sending you big hugs.
