severe indigestion/heartburn

This started last night and it's a burning and pressure sensation where my throat meets my chest. It kept me up all night last night. When I tried to eat today I threw up shortly afterwards and continued to do that for 5 hours. Now when I take a drink of Water the heartburn comes back immediately. Has anyone experienced this? No new foods. I'm 4 weeks post op.

Stricture? I would call the doc just in case.

Sounds like stricture to me. Doc told me if you get them its usually at 3-4 week mark.

Whats a stricture?

from the heeling process, sometimes your opens start to close off and "resctrict" your intake, usually around your stomach.

Could this be an ulcer developing? The burning sounds concerning.... Hope you feel better!! Let us know.

Doc wants to see if its just swelling from maybe some food that got stuck. He put me on Clear liquids for now. I've been keeping Water down ok today.
