No Appetite
I'm 8 weeks out. Food grosses me out. I eat some because I have to but there is absolutely NO desire. I get my protein in through shakes, twice a day 30 grams each & take all my vitamins & water. Anyone else dealing with this? Any ideas?

6 Weeks Out And Losing Approx 1Lb A Week.... :-/
You're doing great. Just relax & makes sure you are eating, getting protein. Youre smaller so it's going to come off slowly. I wouldnt be too concerned with poundage, are you losing inches?

That's awesome! It's a great resource!- Allowable Food
I bought "Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies" last night. I really wish I'd bought it prior to surgery. It has some really good info for post op too. Recipes for all stages! support, exercise, meal plans, etc.- Allowable Food
I'm about the same. My meal plans include well cooked pasta & toast. I made tuna and spiced it up a little bit and had that over toast. It's delicious. Thin sliced chicken from the deli with mustard is really good too!- Surgery Success!

Honestly, I never practiced before surgery. Most of the stuff you are eating afterwards is liquid. After surgery, it wasn't hard. I haven't had any issues. I adhere to the separation and am doing well.- Trying To Sleep
I bought a body pillow to support my belly. I sleep on my sides, place the pillow under my side, hug and I'm off to dream land. I'm one week post op tomorrow so I'm still trying to figure it out myself. This has worked for me this far.- Questions...
Thank you! You have had a great weight loss thus far. I'm hoping to start feeling good. I want more energy!- Hello!
:-)- Questions...
Ok. Thx. Our BMI must be around the same. Good luck to u!- Questions...
Thanks for the input. How tall are you? I'm 5'4.- What If I Lose Too Much Weight Pre-Op?
I was told they go by your initial weigh in. So if you weigh in at 220 that is what they look at when going through approvals.- Hello!
It's been 4 days. I actually got most of my liquids in yesterday, but it was a chore. I get to start full liquids today. Ehh.,. Did you have trouble with anything? The gas is horrible. I'm just trying to walk a lot. What was your starting weight? Mine was 227, 219 pre op, 224... Current ( I think I still have all that stuff they pump into you at the hospital).- New And Nervous
I feel ya. Mine is becoming insecure. He has always told me that he'll love me no matter what size. I think he meant on the larger side of things. It's an adjustment for him too. We have always enjoyed food, beer, wine together & remove that from the equation & we are pretty boring. This is for you. If he chooses not to be in the same boat, then that's on him. You can't change anyone but only tell them how you feel and what they decide to do with it is on them. Keep your head up doll!- Where Is Everyone From?
