  5. I was a smoker pre op. I liked smoking even though I know it's not good for you. So when I decided to have rny I said I was going to quit. I didn't stop smoking unil the day before my surgery. My surgery was April 23rd. It is a month later and I am smoke free. Yay me. I feel so much better.

  8. Welcome Tina. I hate exercising too but when you see the pounds coming off it motivates you. My rny surgery was April 23rd. I have lost 36 pounds so far. One week I had gained 2 or 3 three pounds and I got upset. So that's what keeps me motivated. You can do it.
  9. The powder you can put it in anything like soup pudding and make your own smoothies.

  14. I was told if im going to have bread it's best to toast. Also it should be whole grain bread.
  15. To prevent hair loss my doctor has me on biotin. I also take vitamin d, calcium nitrate, b 12 and a multi vitamin.

  17. I'm glad everything went well. Soon as you can start walking. A few steps at a time. Your going to feel tired. If it gets to be too much sit down and try again later.
  18. Sugar free Popsicles. They quench your thirst when your full and can't drink anymore liquids.

  22. I'm doing great. I didn't have any kind of complications. Thank God. After my third week I'm on a full diet no restrictions. I'm down 36 pounds. I don't have any drinking or eating problems. My only problem is trying to get all of my Protein in. I've been doing a lot of chicken , tuna, split pea Soup and kashi hole grain Cereal. Then I try to make the rest of my protein up with a shake or two.
