  1. This is the last day on the diet. My surgery is tomorrow. I have to be there at 5:30 am. I'm a little nervous but I just want to get it over with. I can't wait to just have something of substance like pudding or something.
  2. I hope you feel better soon. I've noticed a few people on here has had pneumonia. I hope that's not the norm.
  3. My doctor started me on antibiotics today. I have to take them for two days. My surgery is Monday. First off they gave me diarrhea. Second I am hungry as ever. I've been on the pre op diet for 12days now and I've never felt this hungry. Is it the antibiotics? Did anyone else have this problem?
  4. I think they would only prescribe you what they think you might need. I'm sure there is no refill. I would take them if I needed them. That's what they are for. Evrybodies tolerance for pain is different. I hope you feel better soon.
  5. I'm on the pre op diet too. I'm on day 13 . My surgery is Monday. When I get that hungry feeling or crave for something sweet I usually have sugar free Popsicles or flavored water. Try drinking more it really helps. Good luck.
  6. Hi Mary, welcome to this awesome forum. My surgery date is April 23rd. Which is Monday. I am so nervous and excited. I don't know if that makes sense. I had to do the pre op diet for two weeks. I am also allowed to have veggies. I find that when I feel hungry I just drink something. So far I'm down 13 pounds. Good luck on your journey. I will keep everyone posted.

  10. I'm glad your feeling better and able to tolerate some food.
  11. Purée is when you put the food in a blender or food processor and make it like baby food. Ilk. You can get the Protein Shakes at the grocery store, GNC, Walmart or target.

  19. Well I had my pre op appointment today. My surgery is Monday, April 23rd. I am down 13 pounds. I was so happy. I didn't think I had lost that much. I think the nurse was more excited than me. Lol. The big day is 4days away. I'm so excited and nervous. I know that's normal and I will be fine. The nurse told me when I go home if I have any questions don't hesitate to call. She said no question is a stupid question. That made me feel so good.
