  1. With Water like the instructions say. I'm going to try them again. I think I might have added too much water.Any other suggestions are appreciated. I did buy some pure Protein shakes in frosty chocolate. They are 23 grams of protein. They are a little week but tolerable.
  2. The worst part is the wait once you get to the hospital. Once they put you out and you wake up you'll be on the road to recovery. I'll be praying for you.
  3. I bought the syntrex shakes in fuzzy navel I didn't like them.
  4. Glad your feeling much better. Don't get discouraged. I gained two pounds last week. It's probably because I'm on a regular diet now. Our bodies will adjust and we'll get back on track.
  5. I'm glad you guys talked and everything is going to work out.
  6. Wow you look completely different. Congratulations.
  7. Glad everything went well. Have a speedy recovery.
  8. I just bought weight loss surgery cookbook for dummies. It very good. It has a lot of info plus the recipes.
  9. They also give you this contraption to exercise our lungs. At first your gonna think its rediculous because your not making any progress. But it really works. Also walk as much as you can. Good luck.
  10. Some days I'm dragging. Some days I have so much energy.
  11. Josee that's great. Those 11pounds will be gone before you know it.
  12. Wish I lived near Mami. I would support you and try to help you out. Lord knows you need a break. But as you know all of us here are cheering for you.
  13. That is great. My surgery was April 23rd and I'm down 36 pounds.
  14. I was a smoker at the time of my surgery. But prior to that I was told to quit. My surgeon said he knows it's hard to quit. So he said at least the day before surgery no smoking at all. The wonderful thing about this is I haven't had a cigarette since April 21st.
  15. I was pathetic too. I'm 3 weeks post op so I've just been walking. I'm up to a mile and a half in 30 minutes. I decided every week I'm going to push myself a little further. I'm down 36 pounds.
  16. Thanks I'm going to try it.
  17. Try the frozen yogurt. It's just like ice cream. I loooove ice cream too and this was the closest I could get to it.
  18. I've always wondered about this too but no one never knows the answer. I guess it's trial an error.
  19. I never was told to purée as longas it was soft and I chewed it very well. As of Monday I was 3 weeks post op. I'm not on any restrictions. I was just told when trying something new just take it slow and chew very well. I guess it's because I haven't had any issues with liquids or foods going down.
  20. Good luck. Monday will be here before you know it.
  21. Improving my health Be able to shop in a regular store Exercise without feeling like I'm going to pass out. I already started walking . I'm up to a mile nd a half in 30 minutes.
  22. I feel so bad for you. Your husband might think if you lose weight you might change. You'll be surprised how they think. Just because you don't have a 9 to 5 doesn't mean e shouldn't help out. You should challenge him to sty home one day with the kids. He probably wouldn't last an hour. It's sad you don't even want to leav your children with thier father. Well I wish you the bet on ths new journey. Seems like you always take care of everyone else now it's time to take care of you.
  23. Welcome aboard Tina. Wishing you the best on your new journey.
