Hello, great progress, did u feel a lot of pain directly after the operation. My dr told me that it is very minimal but I am not so sure about it.

Bilal,

Directly after the procedure, yeah... Your chest will hurt as soon as u awake from the surgery. But immediately you will be given pain meds. I only needed them the first day or two. When i went home I didn't need any pain meds. But then again, everyone's tolerance for pain is different.

To me it felt like I had done 1000 situps, My stomach was achy. I used the pain meds in the hospital and for the first few days at home. It really wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. Good luck with your surgery!

Wow way to go!!! You reminded me I need to do the same!!

I had no pain meds at all the day of the surgery. Tylenol with codeine (which worked perfectly) twice the day after surgery. Not so much as an aspirn since. They told me pre-op that the pain is minimal as well - THEY WERE RIGHT!!
