Antibiotics

My doctor started me on antibiotics today. I have to take them for two days. My surgery is Monday. First off they gave me diarrhea. Second I am hungry as ever. I've been on the pre op diet for 12days now and I've never felt this hungry. Is it the antibiotics? Did anyone else have this problem?
