  1. Wow I'm not alone. I only go every 2-3 days too. It's strange because before surgery I went 2-3 times a day.
  2. My sister had one for another kind of surgery. It's best if someone else removes it.
  3. I'm back up. I was like what's going on. I haven't talked with my friends today. Lol.
  4. You'll be fine. It's normal to be nervous.
  5. Yes the gurgling noise. I hear it all the time. Lol.
  6. I was a heavy smoker before my surgery. My surgeon told me to quit. He said he knows it's not easy but if I can't quit there should be no smoking the day before surgery. My surgery was April 23, 2012. The great thing is I have been smoke free since April 22, 2012.
  7. Congrats. Glad your doing well.
  8. It's ok if you don't sleep. You'll get enough sleep tomorrow. I'll send in a prayer for you. Good luck.
  9. This is a time to do research and to mentally prepare yourself for this surgery. It is not easy. The surgery isn't a quick fix. It's still hard work. But when the big day comes you will say it was worth the wait. Good luck.
  10. Welcome, I'm a retired correctional officer. I retired June 2011. My surgery was April 23, 2012. Good luck on your journey. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Someone on here will have an answer.
  11. I'm on my iPad and I was actually able to save your list to my photos. So now I can view it any ime I want. Thanks DL and Vamp.
  12. Thanks DL and Vamp.
  13. My surgery was April 23rd. I didn't have any complications from surgery either. However I broke out in a rash all over and had a terrible cold and fever. I went in on a Monday and came home on Wednesday. That's only because I had a fever. I'd say after the first week I felt really good. My energy was back and I started exercising. I didn't even need pain medication when I got home.
  14. I will be praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Good luck.
  15. That's awesome, good for you.
  16. I feel so bad for you. I don't knowwhat you are going through but I would go to another doctor. You have been suffering too long. I know this doesn't happen to many people but this is terrible. I wish you well. I wish there was something I could do to help. I'll be praying for you.
  17. I would let him know how I feel. I think it was a misunderstanding. He did call you back in a timely manner.
  18. Glad your doing better. That's the only way to be is positive.
  19. I take biotin but I put it under my tongue.
  20. I know you're glad you're home. You will be able to rest better. Try walking as much as you can. Also try laying on your left side that seemed to help me.
  21. Glad your doing well. Walk as much as you can but don't over do it. It really does help with the gas. Also sip , sip, sip. Every little bit helps.
  22. I was told 64 grams. I also have a pure protein shake everyday. That's half of my protein right there. Sometimes for a snack I will have a Atkins bar (10/15 grams of protein). So my other meals might consist of chicken, eggs, tuna, chili, beef jerky, etc.
  23. I'm glad everything went well.
