  1. Yes, all of that counts towards your fluid intake.
  2. Congrats. Little by little you will feel better. Don't push it or rush it, just relax.
  3. I am thinking about you and hoping the very best for you.
  4. Good luck, Jimmy. Please let us know how you are.
  5. I have a similar experience. I thought I was approaching time of life changes cause I was having night sweats and some other issues. Since surgery though, I am no longer having them. It's so nice. I've been comfortable at night and not hot in the day; even though, I am living in Kuwait!
  6. Welcome and good luck on your journey!
  7. Yes, I have been doing the same, but yesterday it all changed. Yuck- what to do?
  8. Am taking Bariatric advantage, and suddenly, yesterday, after taking them for three weeks, I felt extremely nauseated right after I swallowed the multivitamin. Is that unheard of? I can't imagine why an intolerance would happen so quickly after I had been taking them with no probs. I know others have said they can't take BA vitamins due to the taste, but there must be another reason that would cause such a quick physical reaction after swallowing them. Any ideas?
  9. I find I have to switch it up or I get sick of them. I have to use up the Isopure vanilla I have, so I mix that with skim milk and ice in the blender; it's not too bad. Then, I alternate with Syntrax, Fuzzy Navel mixed with water and ice. It goes down more easily for me. I have ordered some more Syntrax citrusy ones because they don't feel as heavy to me and the taste is not bad. You should try those. You can get sample packs from their site. Good luck.
  10. I don't have any problems with straws. In fact, I think they are helpful when drinking protein shakes.
  11. That is just wonderful. Congrats to you!
  12. I do so hope you are out of the hospital and recovering quickly. All of the best to you.
  13. Congrats on the surgery! I hope your recovery is quick and uneventful! Best wishes.
  14. I am happy you feel so motivated to take your life back. Welcome to the group!
  15. Good luck to you! Looking forward to hearing a great success story from you.
  16. Thanks guys. So y'all don't worry about causing a leak?
  17. Meant to say I am 3.5 weeks out.
  18. Am just wondering if I am drinking too much at one time. I have gotten into a weird habit of taking a regular size full mouth and then swallowing it bit by bit. I measure a mouthful and it was about 4 oz. is this too much at one time? I am also able to do a couple of these in a row. Now I am concerned that it may be too much. But I don't know how I could get in all my fluid otherwise.
  19. Similar effects happen to me when I am dehydrated. Are u drinking enough?
  20. Yes, it is right. Your body is unique. It will take it it's own time to adjust to everything that is happening and when it is a little more normalized, then you will see more weight coming off. Don't worry. Just pay attention to learning how to take care of yourself right now. It will happen!
