Water

Ok so we need to get around 64oz of water in a day.... can we consider water mixed with our protien as part of that requirement? What about the water used to make our broth? Or is this considered food only?

popsicles, jello, any fluids count as "water" for my surgeon!

Anything that is a liquid goes toward fluids...It's been 5 weeks since surgery, and I still forget to push for 64oz of fluids a day! Make sure to try n sip every 15 minutes so you don't get dehydrated...

Soups and protein shakes count as liquids until you're back on solid food, then they count as food, at least in my surgeon's booklet.
