  8. I had my surgery April 12th, just walked and now I'm working out like a beast...cardio and weight lifting...lifting weights was ok'd by my Dr. At 8 weeks.
  9. Thanks y'all I haven't hit that stall yet...fingers crossed, I know we all gotta hit it but hopefully not yet...
  10. Doing a lot better...I had thee slowest healing ever...eating drinking more than 64 oz...back at work, even using stairs!!! Loving it
  11. I worked out before surgery, am 8 weeks out...I have lost 50 lbs and met one of my three goals. I haven't started working out yet...my Doctor is asking me to slow my weight down from 4.5 lbs to 2 lbs a week. My next appointment is on the 25th of this month to get an okay to start working out. I'm excited to get on that eliptical and free weights!!!
  12. I have reached my goal and am very happy...my Doc told me to try and stay at 2 lbs a week, I'm averaging 4.5lbs how do I slow weight loss????
  13. Lol...when you loose the weight, start a workout regime you will notice they kind of people you enjoy being around...I am around positive people and others who are health conscious...no time for negative people, gossip, or attitudes...Keep your mind body and soul hapoy and healthy! Especially before you go through surgery. Good luck and GOD bless!
  14. Sleeved 4/12/12, I wished mine would stretch, can't drink, or eat anything! I've lost lil over 50 lbs...wished I could keep anything down!
  15. Anything that is a liquid goes toward fluids...It's been 5 weeks since surgery, and I still forget to push for 64oz of fluids a day! Make sure to try n sip every 15 minutes so you don't get dehydrated...
  16. I'm on week four, can't keep anything down...having trouble with my goal of liquids. Doctor says it will get better...sigh

  19. Hello N3wm32012, I just recently finished my nutrition classes and am going to be banded at the end of Feb. It is all happening so fast. If its any help to you, I know someone who's eating habbits have not changed and does not exersize and lost 80lbs, granted she is morbidly obese (over 400 lbs) she is still losing slowly. I believe with the band it will give you a freedom you never had before and your gonna run with it and loose EVERY POUND YOU WANT TO LOSE!!! GOOD LUCK!!
