I Am So Pathetic. :(((
Yep, I let a couple cheezits dissolve in my mouth in the mushy phase, not a proud moment but it is what it is.

Soda
I have been drinking multiple carbonated beverages a day since 2.5 months out. (1 diet pop and 2 sparkling waters) I made goal, didn't stretch my stomach contrary to some people's beliefs on this forum!!!

The Old Fear Is Coming Back :(
Have you ever considered having your metabolism checked? I had mine checked at a Lifetime Fitness. The trainer told me not to eat less than 1500 cals a day ( I had it checked at 2.5 months) so that's where I have stayed and made goal in 8.5 months. Maintaining now with ease at 1800-2200 per day depending on my activity for the day. (I easily ate 3500+ cals a dayto maintain my 255lb pound physique pre-op) 2000 cals per day for an active (i jog and lift weights and work full time as a nurse) 28 year old like myself is reasonable and healthy to maintain my 169lbs-- I have maintained or even built more muscle. I do have lots of protein and veggies but also have carbs. If my weight creeps back up even a 1/4 pound I reign the cals in! I happy with this because unlike some sleevers I can eat very very normally with ease and I didn't lose all my muscle mass and tank my metabolism eating 600-800 cals a day. Cause when you eat 700 cals a day for 8 months and get down to 125lbs-- bad habits can creep in and then you eat 1200 cals on a "bad day" and gain weight cause you have no muscle and you tanked your metabolism!!!

Anyone Lose 100+ & Not Need Plastics
I have lost 90+ and do not need any plastics, no loose skin! I think your age is on your side.
-
Need Comparison From The Pros
I can eat a 6 inch with veggies minus the top of the bread. Sounds normal and reasonable.

The More I Lose, The More I Fear...
Have you thought about picking a weight loss goal that is more modest? that is exactly what I did. I am currently at goal, no longer obese, no lose skin, just think and curvy. I am not thin either-- that is not important to me. I do however like the way I look now (i wear a size 10-12 and medium or large tops, and a 36C. AND I am healthy..... I would not feel good about myself at a lower weight if it meant I had body issues realted to lose skin. Also a more modest weight goal is much easier to maintain in the long run.

Gaining Weight Rapidly!
wow, really? I ate 1200-1800 per day and made goal in 8.5 months. When I would eat less than 1200 I would not lose. Its quite easy to eat that much, trust me.... Pre-op however I would eat 3000 cals per day minimum

1000-1400 Cal/day At 3 Months Post Op
thats where I was at for a calorie count at 3 months. I made goal at 8.5 months! Some bodies work better with more calories.

Sound Off On Post Op Appetite
I honestly get hungry like before. I eat when I'm hungry. Big difference now is I am full and satisfied on (for example) 1 small slice of pizza not the entire thing!

Loose Skin Post-Op ~ Pre-Op Stretch Marks Correlated With Potential Loose Skin?
I had quite a few stretch marks. Our BMIs were probably similar to start. I am 5'4'' and started around 260... and I almost 29. I basically have zero loose skin! If you look closely you can see the stretch marks but they shrank a lot. I can mostly see them on my hips and sides of my breasts. I am pretty happy with my results! I do have to say that I am still pretty "thick" but that helps the skin and it is easier to maintain this weight..... Good luck!

Goal Setting
I am a little odd here. I had a weight loss goal of 170 or less...... Thats almost 100 pounds down from my heaviest. It is not "thin" but I am average and healthy. I wear a medium top and size 10 in pants. That is fantastic to me. I have zero loose skin at this weight. I look normal. I know that I can maintain this weight forever. Couldnt be happier.

Sleeve Or Bypass
I vote sleeve, but it depends on what your expectations are. I don't need to be 120lbs to be happy or healthy.

Sag
I noticed when I was losing weight fast I would see this or that sagging, and a few weeks later the skin kind of catches up. Keeping hydrated, getting your protien in, and working helps too.....

2 Week Diet Started

Really Hating My Family Right Now :-(
the good part is in 6 months you can have 1 slice of pizza (and feel completely satisfied), and be very close to your goal weight and have a tool to help maintain the loss!!! In a way you can have your pizza and eat it too! The first few months of torture are sooooo worth it
