Hello all! If Anyone on this forum was insanely worried about hair loss it was me. My long blonde hair has always been my thing (especially being the "big girl" all my life) so when I started losing A TON of hair at 4 months out I was so upset. I was crying in the shower daily...... But Nobody could tell the difference, I never developed bald spots, my hair still looked good. I'm at 7 months and happy to report the hair loss has stopped and I have a half inch of regrowth already. I survived! And I'm 7 pounds from goal- woo! So all you ladies worried about the hair loss-- you will more than likey survive as well!- Food Funeral
I felt the same way-- this is only temporary!! Hang in there you will get through it. And this is when you lose a lot weight-- it's so worth it in the end! I promise.- So Frustrated With Eating Out!

Hello everyone!!! I am looking for ideas, tips, and just motivation to lose the last 10lbs! I *could* be happy where I am now forever but I really wanna make goal. Any and all tips please!!! Thanks VST family- Revision After 5 Months
I personally don't think you are jumping the gun. I am a nurse in a clinic and I have seen about 10 people get the band in the last 4 years and NOT ONE of them are happy with or have lost more than 30lbs. 30lbs!!!!! This sleeve is the best thing I ever did for myself personally. I am less than 10lbs from goal- I have no side effects, I didnt go bald, I have zero loose skin, and I am in a size 10 for the first time since I was 8 years old.- I May Have A Problem..
I don't think you have to worry! Once your on solids you will feel the restriction. This is normal to feel on mushies.- Six Months Out - 85.4 Pounds Gone
You look SO GREAT!!! You just made my day lady!- Damn Was I Really That Big?
We all must admit we were/ are large enough to need WLS......- Fat Consumption For A Day..
personally., I always eat the "normal" everything since we each such small quanities. More and more studies show that low fat is not great for you. When they make low fat and fat free things like mayo and dressings they just add sugar and other toxic waste. I am so close to goal and never use low fat anything. I of course do not go over board but I think many WLS patients do not eat enough healthy fat. I am not encouraging everyone to eat a bunch of deep fried food or anything but I think natural small quanities of fat has helped keep m,y body satisified and helped my skin and hair-- and has kept me healthy overall.- Monday Motivation
When a problem comes along, you must whip it!- What Happens To Me After Eating A Meal
Yes this is called foaming. Others will get sliming instead. It's your bodies way of trying to lubricate/ move the food in the overfilled new stomach you have.- Hot & Sour Soup
I love this soup and I have eaten a ton post op!!! The only con is the sodium..... but hey whatever works.- Hair Loss Experiences
Mine started at 3.5 months and its slowed now at 7 months-- nobody can see the difference. It's just annoying picking hair off everything!- Whats The Skinny? Saturday
I would day the first 3-4 months the weight DOES fall off effortlessly but after that you have to work to lose the rest and be careful cause YOU CAN regain! When the scale creeps up a pound I am sure to make good choices until I am back in my comfort place (in he 170's) Its my goal to be 169.9 or less for the rest f my life and I am going to have to work to get these last 8lbs off!!!!- Hair Dye And Hair Loss
I get my hair foiled every six weeks like clockwork. I don't think it impacted how much has fallen out. I did lose A LOT of a hair, but at nearly 7 months I still look good, and I am getting regrowth already- Does Anyone Watch Man Vs. Food?
I couldn't even watch pre-op. Its disgusting - I Weigh Less Than My Husband For The First Time In 25 Years!
