  1. I would totally say a 9. If I didn't lose a ton of hair I would say 10!! Super happy and I know I will make goal in the next 6 months!
  2. I went from a 42D to a 38B and somehow they are still kind of perky! Hoping the last 15lbs all come right from my thighs!
  3. Warning: This is GRAPHIC! have only slimed about 6 times post-op. the best way to desribe it is after eating something a.) you don't chew well enough b.) something your sleeve doesn't tolerate c.) if you eat too much also I will sneeze multiples times if I eat a little too much-- and have heard this from other sleevers Sliming is a lubricating response your body has to the food in your sleeve. I have a stuck feel in my chest/ throat. Then i burp and finally I throw up big slimy balls of mucousy slime. No food comes up. sometimes just once and I feel better but on one occasion when I ate beef Jerky at 2 months post op I tottally slimed for like 2 hours :-( feel free to ask more questions. The best way to avoid is to take small bites, chew well, don't over do it and try new textures/ foods slowly.
  4. Debi I thought you were like 35!!!! Thats how old you look in your pic!
  5. I wish you good luck with your revision! I really hope you get some results!!
  6. Whats your goal weight dear? Sounds like you are gaining muscle working out!!! I think you will lose very slowly now that you are so tiny!!
  7. Honey, I broke up with my fiance last February! A few days before Valentines! I had a broken heart for months and months-- then I decided to change my life and I got the sleeve in August. Now I am seeing an amazing guy and beating guys off with sticks-- lol j/k... kind of. Love yourself this Valentines day and you will find the person of your dreams soon enough!!!!
  8. Just in time for Valentines day! plus once you lose much of your weight this becomes a lot more fun :Banane59:
  9. lol I have never thought about this! I have lost zero weight in my butt and thighs! top half is another story! We all have our trouble areas I guess
  10. I know I get so much more attention from the opposite sex-- I am not sure I know what to do!!!
  11. Congrats! I am at 6 months tomorrow!! Keep up the good work !! :party4:
  12. We are sleeve sisters! Congrats on your progress-- we are very close in stats :-) We will make it to goal!! Keep up the good work :-)
  13. Yes I have but I don't have any bald spots or anything, just lost maybe 1/4- 1/2 the volume. It seems to be slowing down now. It started at 3.5 months. As you can see from my pics my hair looks just fine!
  14. Thats about the rate I have been losing too and i am very happy with that at well!
  15. at my heaviest I weighed 262, I am 5'4'. I was sleeved weighing 255, and i am currently 178!
  16. I have been eating a few salads a week since 2 months out with no probs!
  17. for me it is usually the quanity of what I eat, but everyone is different. I only got the slimes once from chicken breast and I eat it all the time and it was no different so I think is just depends on what kind of mood your sleeve is in! I have gotten the slimes 6-7 times total since Aug. so it gets less and less
  18. I agree with Kelly L. Its thrush- plus I am a nurse :-) you can get a Diflucan pill you can swallow. I got it a week after surgery as well
  19. I have gone to a few support meetings as well and I have found a wide range of people. It seems like most the sleevers are in their 20's like me. There was a poor man with a lap band that he has had for 3 years and he is over 500lbs. I hope he consideres revision to Sleeve!
