  1. I have been eating bread since 2 months. Maybe 2 or 3 slices total per week with eggs
  2. I am at 4 months. I thought I was out of the woods. It just started falling out like mad 3 weeks ago. I am finding hair everywhere. My hair is/was my security blanket too. It is long and naturally blonde. But the good news is IT GROWS BACK. If getting thin and healthy means I lose half my hair for a few months-- it will be worth it! Do what you can to prevent this-- take your vitamins, biotin, use nioxin etc. Prepare for the worst. We will be ok!!!!!
  3. You will change your mind when you can eat anything in moderation and you feel and look amazing. And trust me, you will!
  4. The best time to take a PPI is first thing in the a.m. On an empty stomach about 30 mins before breakfast. What kind of tummy issues are you talking about?
  5. At that stage I was very swollen still and I was eating 2 tablespoons at a time for something like refried beans. I could do a little more of a thinner yogurt.
  6. girl you are doing awesome. I wish I could have been at that calorie count early too. I am a big fan of slower weight loss and trying to feed your body I think you will lose less hair, maintain your muscle mass and overall will be feeling better. Keep up the good work!
  7. Sounds fantastic to me! I eat 1200-1600 a day but I'm at 4 months out. At 2 weeks out I could barely get 300 cals in! How do you do it?!
  8. love it! thanks for the giggle, needed that today
  9. I am not worried I will lose too much weight, but personally I don't want to be very thin- it would be completely odd for me. I would like to level out at thick and healthy of course! a size 10 or so. My doc wants me at 160 and I think that is perfect! I want to keep my booty and my thicker thighs and whats left of my breasts.. (So I don't look like a deflated balloon) So far so good. If I knew I could be thinner and not look deflated I would possibly like the idea more but that is not reality for me.
  10. I did verything in power to avoid hair loss (taking Biotin everyday since 2 weeks post-op, using Nioxin, eating right.) But I am at four months post op and the hair loss has really began. :-( My weight loss had been great, and I eat at least 80 grams plus daily of protien and currently 1200-1600 cals a day. I think the hair loss now is correlated to the first few months of rapid weight loss and really low calorie intake. I am trying not to panic but my long blonde mane has been the one great thing I love about how I look (I have been chubby since birth) Wondering if anyone else has cut their hair when it was falling out and does that help it but not weighing so much??? Any insight for this anxiety I am having would be great!!!
  11. This feeling stayed about 10 days for me, 2 weeks max.
  12. This is me to a "T" on every diet in the past. Everytime the scale stopped moving I gave up and quit. I would TRY to resist temptation but I couldn't. I am pretty lucky post op and with the lack of the hunger I feel like my cravings are more easily curbed. I am sorry you are struggling. It sounds like you might need to work with a psychologist. (I am seeing one!!, my spending on clothes, purses, and make up has been reckless post op, and I know its related to a cross over type thing) I know that sounds harsh but make an appointment and take care of yourself!!!
  13. Coops I LOVE reading everything you write! You are so practical and lovely! So entertaining :-)
  14. Yay!!!!! Love it, We were sleeved the same day!
  15. I have a "sleeve" type tattoo on my right thigh and I have lost 60lbs since surgery and it still looks great.... I only want to lose 25-35 more pounds so Its looking good for me. I think the slower weight loss helps. There is hope for you!!!!!
  16. A ppi is a proton pump inhibitor. ( Prilosec or nexium etc) to reduce stomach acid.
  17. Is it your program rule to eat 800 calories a day? I eat 1500 a day, and I'm thrilled with my weight loss.
  18. I have only been sleeved for 4 months but I believe you can! When the weight loss really slows you can amp up your work outs to get to the 175 you dream of! You can do it!
  19. Oooh sounds great thanks for sharing
  20. This is normal! you're still swollen from the surgery and the IV fluids!!! Don't step on the scale for a few weeks. This will work, you didn't blow your life savings!!!
  21. girl you were beautiful before! but now you look 5 years younger wow!!! way to go!!
